Flow Kobra - STEREOTYPE (2024)

SPOTIFY & YOUTUBE

“STEREOTYPE” is an aggressive, genre-blending track by the Australian heavy fusion band Flow Kobra, officially released on March 22, 2024. The song stands out as the second track on their high-energy debut studio album, CRINGE CLIQUE.
The track showcases the Wollongong, New South Wales group’s signature blend of trap metal, alternative rock, and modern metalcore. It heavily balances aggressive electronic trap patterns and distorted nu-metal basslines with screaming vocal structures and anthemic melodies.
The song features songwriting and compositions by Kobe Stimson and Mathew Payne, with music production handled by Jacob Wilkes.
Driven by raw frustration, the track centers on feeling alienated, targeted, and misjudged by peer groups. The aggressive choruses tackle the irritation of being shoved into a preconceived box, highlighted by the central refrain: “They just don’t want me / They never knew me / Stereotype me”.
