May is EDS and HSD Awareness Month. To honour this month I finally wrote the article I’d been meaning to write for the last year or so - about my HSD journey and what I call the “Hypermobility Tax”.

The Hypermobility Tax is a concept I recently came up with which refers to the constant extra energy, recovery, adaptation and self-management required to just live my life.

Yesterday I got the opportunity to be a panel speaker at @mymenses period conversation event. What a delight it was. A room filled with amazing people. Well done to Sike and everyone for a fantastic event filled with so much knowledge. I shared my experience of lichen sclerosus and endometriosis and the effects this has had on me, my life and my periods 🤍 taking 17 years to get my endometriosis recognised has impacted my life beyond winds. I felt honoured to share my experience living with both of these conditions. @abbydezso

Hello from Anna & Gabz🫶🏻☺️

A massive thank you to Sike & the @mymenses for inviting us to speak on the panel at their Period Conversation Brunch today in London. It was an incredible event filled with amazing, inspirational speakers sharing their own lived experience on all topics from PMDD, POI, PCOS, lichen sclerous, autism, endometriosis, menopause, fibromyalgia & beyond!

It was a day filled with honest, candid & empowering conversations to give people the tools & confidence to advocate for better care & support when it comes to their health.

Coming together & uniting to create safe, open spaces for people to be able to open up is vital to ensure we continue to work towards eradicating the stigma & improve education surrounding menstrual health, gynaecological health & chronic conditions

Community will ALWAYS be key in achieving this & achieving more⚡️

Scrolling our camera roll after the Cycle Coach School gathering in Oxford, UK, is joyful.

As a global classroom, these in-person moments feel that more special and magical.

The sign of a good time? Not many pictures taken.

Tell us in the comments: Where would you love to see an alumni gathering happen next? 💖

Ps. Scroll to the last pic to see a serendipitous moment when we found Claire some floral pom-poms. She’s our biggest cheerleader!

When a group of Cycle Coach School alumni gather, a few things will inevitably happen:

💫 A cycle check-in where we each share what day of our menstrual cycle we’re on & how it’s feeling.
🔮 Sharing what’s currently brewing in our creative cauldrons (and what we are celebrating!)
👯‍♀️ Plenty of laughs, hugs and heartfelt reflections on our time in the training & the clients we attract.

Community is a potent piece of our training program, one we’ve spent many hours & days curating and implementing. It’s part of what sets our school apart.

The next application season opens in ONE WEEK.

We’re especially looking forward to our gathering happening in Oxford, UK this weekend!

Some of the most magical moments are when our Cycle Coaches gather in person. ✨

For a virtual school, these connections are powerful.

We had a brilliant time in Brighton, UK a few weekends ago, enjoying the warm saunas and the freezing sea.

Where would you like to see a Cycle Coach meet-up happen? Comment below! 🙌

We shared some pictures and videos to our stories yesterday, but needed to add this magical day to our grid. 🤍
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This past Sunday, we had a Cycle Coach meet-up for our UK alumni at Beach Box sauna in Brighton. The sea was still, *freezing* and so enlivening.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There were lots of giggles, tender shares and excited chats about collaborations and plans to share cycle awareness in the world this year!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was honestly a beautiful opportunity to connect in the new year on the new moon and charge ourselves up on in-person connection. ✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you're a student in our 2023 year, fret not. We will have plenty of opportunities to connect face-to-face once you're through the course.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How did you celebrate the new moon this past weekend? Share below in the comments.

Ps. Did you hear? There are a few more spaces for this year’s group. Click the link in our bio to learn more and apply!
