Going close to failure, but not to failure is ideal for building muscle mass 💪🏿 What you don’t want to do to build muscle is overtrain and leave yourself completely fatigued ⁣
⁣
There’s a method to growing and we got it 💯 ⁣

Bodybuilding with MS requires strategy.⁣
⁣
Once a week I take my medication and after that, training for 1-2 days is off the table…⁣
⁣
This means that when I do feel good I have to take full advantage and get the same done in 3-4 days that others do with 5-7 but I’m up for the challenge this is what I signed up for 💯👊🏿⁣
⁣
You can either make excuses or you can find a way to make it happen ⁣
⁣
We found a way that works for me and that’s what we’re gonna keep doing 💪🏿⁣

Prepping for a bodybuilding show with MS… man it’s not easy I’ll tell you that much ⁣
⁣
It’s been years of trial and error with my coach @teamwilltowin but the most important part is making sure I feel good first 🙏🏿⁣
⁣
It’s simple… if you feel good your body responds to the changes you are trying to make.⁣
⁣
💪🏿 I’m glad I never gave up and I get to help other athletes do the same 💯 dm me “train” for more details on 1 on 1 training ⁣

I said I was gonna become a pro with MS or without it so when push came to shove and with it was the only option I had I stepped up to the challenge and got it done 👊🏿⁣
⁣
People are always going to doubt you and I don’t blame them because I did the damn near impossible. The doctors told me it was impossible…⁣
⁣
But I told myself is was possible and here we are now an IFBB Pro and still going for the next victory 💯😤⁣

What’s it like training with Multiple Sclerosis…⁣
⁣
I’ll tell you what it’s like.⁣
⁣
It’s people doubting you but proving them wrong…⁣
It’s training smarter…⁣
Working harder…⁣
And knowing I have to show up that much better than the guy next to me because I have something they don’t…⁣
⁣
And because I have something they don’t they’ll never achieve what I will 💯⁣

Tracking your macros and hitting all your lifts but you still don’t feel good internally? ⁣
⁣
My nutrition being an athlete with MS is a lot more than just protein, carbs, and fat.⁣
⁣
There’s such a heavy emphasis on macros to get your body to look a certain way but if you want to feel as good as you look, micronutrients need to take priority… 👊🏿⁣
⁣
If you want to be an athlete you need to eat like one and that starts with getting all of your nutrients.⁣
⁣
If you’re tired of not feeling your best in the gym message me “nutrition” for information on customized nutrition coaching 💯💯⁣
