This is the first #steelmaceflow sequence I've created myself. And honestly, I kinda love it.

I often say that sequencing is my art form. There's something so powerful about creating choreography. Drawing inspo from the greats while discovering different ways to connect the dots is the ultimate neuroplasticity booster.

I also love creating sequences that force both sides of the body to connect symbiotically. This one in particular is massively propriceptive and the outcome is just so satisfying.

Do you set aside time to create just because it feels good?

Whatever your art form is, it deserves your loving attention.

I spent a lovely afternoon swinging maces and walking around Montpelier with @flowwithshuva. It’s so fun to meet internet friends in real life. Thanks for meeting up and enjoy the rest of your trip!

The Bridge is one of many exercises that help to strengthen the hips, especially the gluteus maximus. No equipment is needed, and it's an easy exercise to work into your daily activities whenever you have a few minutes!

Muscles worked include the low back, abdominals, hips/glutes and legs. When the Bridge is performed correctly and consistently, the conditioning effect helps to make everyday movements such as going up stairs, squatting down or rising from a seated position, easier to accomplish. In addition, because it targets muscles important to posture, balance and stability are improved.

I had the BEST time at #entrefest 2026! It is so invigorating and energizing to be around other entrepreneurs. Today, I had lunch with my college friend and fellow business owner @flowwithshuva, who brainstormed so many good ideas for @circalegacy. Please check out her business! I have bought my 10-pound mace and soon will be improving my balance, coordination, and strength with Shuva’s videos and workshops. I can’t wait. Thanks for another great conference, @newboco and all the sponsors who make it possible!

@flowwithshuva works with a mace!! 💪🏾

Have you ever tried one? It looks like it wouldn't be too difficult but then you see her do the moves and the breath work and you know it would be a hefty and valuable workout.

Shuva has several ways you can work with her. (in person, online)! She is on my list of people to help me with my movement. Currently I'm at the 1st level of pilates but I'll get to the mace some day and I can't wait.

Some of the amazing @rivercitypilates teachers came over to my house over the last couple of weeks and filmed hundreds of exercise videos for me…YES - HUNDREDS!!! So many that I have to upload them to YouTube over multiple days because I keep reaching the daily limit.

All the videos will be part of the Mat on Tower Workshop happening on March 7th, which has 3 CECs for NCPT available! Plus, all of these videos and pictures will be part of my next manual for Cadillac/Tower/Springboard. The Mat on Tower part of the manual is already over 125 pages of variations and filled with color pictures!!!

My goal is to show as many shapes and sizes and abilities doing the work. I couldn’t do it without all the love and support I have around me. It takes so much effort to make these manuals possible, but I really feel in my heart that it’s all worth it.

Thank you to Shuva, Shelley, Shiho, Kellee, and Kimberly for your time on this project! Looking forward to capturing even more in the next month or so!

Day 7 - May is National Osteoporosis Awareness & Prevention Month

Let’s give some love to this classic yoga pose! It’s a powerhouse for building strength in your legs and hips-two spots that really matter when it comes to osteoporosis. Try holding it for 2-5 breaths (inhaling, exhaling, and repeat) on each side and notice how much more grounded and steady you feel. Your foundation is getting stronger with every breath!

Try this pose today and tag me in your Warrior 2 photo!

Today our RCP staff celebrated the new year with great conversation, lots of laughs and an amazing brunch at @tinroost ! We were missing a few people(because it’s so hard to find a time we can all get together!). As a studio owner I am always so grateful for these inspiring, kind humans who found their way to Rivercity Pilates and have dedicated so much time and effort into helping others with their knowledge and teaching skills! 💜💜
