The three C’s “Conversations with Cornelius”
Where Sound Doctrine Meets Real Conversation

Welcome to Conversations with Cornelius—a space where sound doctrine meets real-life application, and where teaching the Word remains the priority.

What began as a podcast has grown into a ministry platform designed to inspire, educate, and strengthen believers through impactful preaching and thoughtful conversation.

Pastor Cornelius Hill, a proud 5th-generation Primitive Baptist, serves as Pastor of Ephesian Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee. His leadership extends beyond the pulpit as Assistant Dean of the Cumberland Primitive Baptist Association and Dean of the Tri-State Convention (Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi).

He also serves as a Bible Expositor for the Tennessee State Convention and a vetted instructor with the Academic Mobile Training Academy.

With a divine mandate to teach, Pastor Hill is committed to glorifying God and equipping others through truth, clarity, and conviction.

Santa Vol's Countdown to Kickoff Giveaway

***Congrats to Abram White, winner of this drawing***

UT was down 31-7 near the end of the 2nd quarter, and Notre Dame looked to add 3 points with a field goal. Darryl Hardy blocked the attempt, and Floyd Miley grabbed the ball and went 85 yards for a touchdown. This started the Miracle at Southbend, the Vols 35-34 win over the Irish.

Miley is best remembered for this return. He played defensive back for the Vols 1988-91. He was part of back to back SEC Championships in 1989 & 90.

In a game vs Ole Miss in Memphis in 1990, he returned a blocked PAT for the only Defensive 2 point conversion in Vols history. Ole Miss scored to cut the Vols lead to 20-13 but Ryan Patterson blocked the extra point, and 97 yards later, Miley got the Vols 2 points! Final score : Vols 22 - Rebels 13
