The last two weeks have been an absolute dance whirlwind, and now that we’re finally home, I’ve had a chance to reflect on just how incredibly proud I am of Talia.

This year, she took a leap of faith by choosing to homeschool so she could fully dedicate herself to her training. The countless hours in the studio and at home, the sacrifices, the hard work, and the determination have all led to moments she’ll never forget.

She kicked off these last two weeks by competing for Teen Dancer of the Year at Fluid Nationals… and she won 💕 Then it was off to Palm Springs for an unforgettable week at Act 1 Nationals with her Dance Nation family.

As proud as I am of everything she’s accomplished, I’m even more proud of the person she’s becoming. Her kindness, humility, and the way she genuinely celebrates and encourages others make me prouder than any title ever could.

I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know I’ll always be her biggest fan. One more stop—Florida for NYCDA Nationals—to wrap up an incredible season. ❤️

And finally, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to every one of Talia’s teachers at Dance Nation. Thank you for believing in her, challenging her, encouraging her, and helping nurture not only her talent but the beautiful young woman she is becoming. Knowing she is surrounded by teachers who genuinely love and invest in her means more than I can ever express. We are forever grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️

After being replaced in her featured role for Dimensions’ Ignite lyrical piece, we pulled Autumn out of the studio 3 weeks before Nationals. She wanted to end the season on her terms though so she choreographed her own solo for Nationals. She developed this piece 3 weeks prior to the competition. She also mixed the music herself and found a very last-minute costume on Amazon. Here’s the result. She scored a High Gold medal 298.2 and was only .8 points away from scoring Platinum (the highest.) She chose the song because it reminds her of her eldest brother, who is estranged from our family. So grateful she chose me to be her mom. @fluiddance @kenzie

Fluid Nationals 2026!!!

I can’t believe this year went so fast and season 19 of fluid has come to an end. I am incredibly grateful that I was able to be apart of an incredible team @fluidforcedancers and being able to assist along side incredible choreographers. This was truly an incredible experience and I will never forget this incredible journey. I created many friendships that I will cherish forever and will forever be grateful.

Fluid will always have a special place in my heart I feel like I have grown up on the fluid stage. I’ve been going to fluid for 6 years and I’m sad that my journey has come to end. But I am grateful for everything that I learned at fluid and all the amazing opportunities fluid opened up for me. Thank you Fluid for everything 💚💚
