My New Single 'Once Again (live at Hidden Gem)' is OUT NOW! Link in bio! Recorded in one live take by @rufusvanbaardwijk at his beautiful @studio.hiddengem A huge thanks to @timlangedijk_com for his amazing bass playing (every take he played was flawless and amazing and different every time), for his beautiful guitar parts (overdubbed later obviously) and for his musical guidance. To @matsu_fox for channelling his inner Jim Keltner and making this song sound the way I always wanted it to but previously never succeeded in. What a feel and what a sound! You made it happen! Thanks to @ingepersoonlijk for capturing this live take on video and also for her beautiful backing vocals (also obviously overdubbed later) To Jara Holdert @lewinsongs for giving this song a title all those years ago and for lending her beautiful voice for the backing vocals as well. To @luisilipe for lending us his gimbal so we could make this video happen. Thank you @fotocoendijkstra and @darlyalvarez00 for helping me lots with the artwork. Thank you to all of you who are always singing along this song during my shows. That means the world to me. I hope this version will make you all want to chant along ever more. This song is for you! And last but not least I want to thank my dad and a beautiful Norwegian girl who both inspired me to write this song back in 2017. She for not wanting to continue a long-distance relationship, and my dad for opening my eyes, telling me, "How can you expect a relationship to work when you're away on tour a lot, travelling around all the time?" He was right, and so was she. And I'm happy this song came out of this. Thank you all for supporting my music. Let me know what you think of this new version of Once Again. Much love, Bram ° ° ° ° ° #bramontour #onceagain #newreleasefriday #newsingle #hiddengemstudio #ingepersoon #liveperformance #fenderrhodes #liverecording #stonemadeoutofheart #timlangedijk #matsufox #bramvanlangen #bramvanlangenmusic #amsterdamstudio #hiddengemamsterdam

#6 of 12 songs I released in 2021: 'Once Again (Acoustic)’ Off the EP 'Twelve Years (Acoustic Sessions with Tim Langedijk)   Words and music by Bram Van Langen, written in the summer of 2017  Recorded May 12th 2020     Tim Langedijk on Acoustic Baritone Guitar Bram Van Langen on Acoustic Guitar and Vocals   Recorded and Mixed by Tim Langedijk at Spyhead Studio, Haarlem, The Netherlands Mastered by Mark Hoeksma at @MixedByMark, The Netherlands   Artwork by Bram van Langen with the assistance of Darly Alvarez @flumenart Photo by Bram van Langen   Great thanks to Tim for his musical guidance, patience, incredible playing skills and the use of his beautiful guitars.   Support us by donating on: https://paypal.me/bramvanlangenmusic?locale.x=nl_NL   ℗ 2021 Eigen beheer / Bram van Langen   Released on: 2021-04-04   Lyrics to  'Once Again'   I am right back where I started Had my hopes up once again From another love I parted From another height I fell   Through too long a time apart Lost another piece of heart   Lying in bed, holding a pillow, pretending that it's you, my friend, lying in my arms again.   Some might see in everything a sign while the other ones feel pain. In the future one sees sunshine while the other one feels rain.   What was yesterday in bloom, can today turn into gloom.   Lying in bed, holding a pillow, pretending that it's you my friend, lying in my arms again.   We all know the Rolling Stones  on which no moss will ever settle Always drawn by the unknowns  but through erosion leaves a pebble   There no need to be a greater savant  To realise you can't always get what you want   So better never loved at all than to have loved or have lost. Losing always wins from winning and I'm the one who bites the dust   Once again fell off the cart. I'm a stone made out of heart.   Lying in bed, holding a pillow, pretending that it's you my friend, lying in my arms again.   Lying in bed, holding a pillow, pretending that it's you my friend, lying in my arms again. Lying in my arms again.     //////   Find me on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6VHNldUqPgrVDSUMNtJEPE   Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bramvanlangen/   Linktree: https:

There are two ways to count time  is a game we play. Time is a game we play (2x),   There's a man who tells a story about the world in all its glory exactly the way he planned plant the trees in line have made sure that one can't change what's in our nature. Making nature fit our  time  is a game we play.  Time is a game we play (2x).   Lady ointments, lashes longer. Sand her wrinkles make her seem younger. More runs in  the hourglass  awaits the darkest hour beside her. Change the clock won't make any lighter. DST is just another  game we play. Time is a game we play (4x).   /////   Available on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6VHNldUqPgrVDSUMNtJEPE   Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/artist/bram-van-langen/993871194   Linktree: https://linktr.ee/bramvanlangen

#1 of 12 songs I released in 2021   'Jekyll & Hyde' Words and music by Bram Van Langen, written in the night of February 13th/14th 2020 Recorded on June 17th 2020   Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/3iLG7g3jazVCMrpnU72nAX Linktree: https://linktr.ee/bramvanlangen     Tim Langedijk on Acoustic Baritone Guitar Bram Van Langen on Acoustic Guitar and Vocals   Recorded and Mixed by Tim Langedijk at Spyhead Studio, Haarlem, The Netherlands Mastered by Mark Hoeksma at @Mixed By Mark, The Netherlands   Artwork by Bram van Langen with the assistance of Darly Alvarez @flumenart Photo by Rasmus Andersson   Great thanks to Tim for his musical guidance, patience, incredible playing skills and the use of his beautiful guitars.   ℗ 2021 Eigen beheer / Bram van Langen   Support us by donating on: https://paypal.me/bramvanlangenmusic?locale.x=nl_NL     Released on: 2021-02-14   Lyrics to Jekyll & Hyde:   You seem to think you know the answer to everything  I seek the truth within  You try to follow your dreams while you're chased by your nightmares Creeping underneath your skin   Your thought that love changes all only feeds your bad appetite to please And turned the world from green to blue Your love, a fever that longs for more only will nurse disease Who am I to know what's good?   Am I the one to blame? Where do we draw the line? Am I never good enough? Then I'll still be Jekyll, and you are still my Hyde    You've cut the air with your knife and conceived secularity And knocked the angel of my perch Your race for leading a healthy life leads to insanity No body is a church   Am I the one to blame? When there is no divide/divine Why do I still feel ashamed? Then I'll still be Jekyll, and you are still my Hyde   Show more resilience, deal with the pressure to meet the social norm Or take the potion to appease Powder to people to make them all walk down in uniform Life's too short to waste on speed   You yearn for more and more pleasure but can’t get no satisfaction It’s a race that can’t be won Chasing your shadow while now the world needs your compassion   Still nothing will change until you and me  are one   Are one     /////
