I could not be more proud of this guy for passing his CFII! @nightfury503 was my very first real student, and from his private pilot training to now he has excelled. He’s officially done until ATP! There aren’t anymore ratings that I can give him unless you count seaplane and I’m a little rusty there. He has the work ethic, determination and skills it takes to be successful and he somehow seems to have the balance it takes to enjoy the ride along the way. Thank you Timi, for trusting me and allowing me to be your instructor. It has absolutely been my pleasure. #aviation @flybsa

Obtained my Commercial ASEL rating today! What a ride it has been! With more certifications and ratings to go I have to give a huge thanks to @rrose14 @baileywhite1120 @wind_walkerneil @jaymesbenefield333 and @flybsa for all of the help getting here!! My student passed her checkride today with flying (pun intended) colors, and I couldn’t be more proud of her! Saying she worked hard for this is an understatement. Did you solve the riddle?! What an eventful day! Got a new rating, became my instructor’s Gold Seal and my very first student passed his checkride too!

Being solely a CFI only allowed me to instruct students on perfect weather days which meant that whenever I passed a private student, I’d lose them to another instructor. Well not anymore! Thank you to @flybsa for the top notch training and great experience! If you’re looking for the best Part 61 flight school, BSA is where it’s at.

Summer was good until Mr. Doctor told me that my lingering shoulder pain from bench might actually be a torn labrum💔. Last bench day was June 17 and last squat or dead day was July 10🥀🥀.

Florida to Alaska: Leg 1 complete!

First stop: dinner with Matthew & Kellie, the awesome duo behind Blue Skies Above flight school. If you’re looking for top-notch instruction or just great people in GA/AL, hit me up—I’ll connect you. You won’t find better than @the_fly_cfi.

Next up: @bjones1371 (founder of @pappy_aero) and his incredible family hosted me for a few days. I met amazing folks like @aidanframes & Sheri, flew a clipped-wing Cub, and even had my first motorcycle lesson!

Shoutout to @jonesfabricationracing for giving my Civic the TLC it desperately needed—this guy is a wildly talented mechanic and then some, and lucky for us, stepping into aviation. Go check out his work!

@bjones1371 & his wife Nicole are the kind of people that remind you how good the world can be. With @pappy_aero, he’s immortalizing veterans’ stories and plans to use proceeds to help fund the next generation of pilots. Rooted in reality, living on dreams, and keeping GA alive.

If you can’t find any good in the world, hang out in the aviation community. These folks will sweep you off your feet—literally and figuratively.

I’m tucked in at my next stop and doing my best to stay safe, as I promised. I survived Louisiana roads and some IFR-style driving, so we’re off to a solid start.

Say your version of a prayer to help chase the rain away. If I can’t log it, or sit on a porch with a book to enjoy it, I don’t want it. As always, I’m incredibly grateful for the people in my life. 100LL is thicker than blood. More updates soon. ✌️

Gratitude! Finding the words to express the gratitude I have for so many people who allowed God to use them in 2024 is hard because no words can do it justice—but I’ll try. The mentorship program I’m proud and honored to be a part of got 2024 rolling with a major scholarship that allowed me to continue my flight training. Without @sistersoftheskies , I would have had to quit this aviation journey—or at the very least, pause it for a while. Thank you, SOS, for your advocacy, mentorship, and support. I’m so full of gratitude that I’m tearing up as I reflect.

I was also blessed to receive scholarship from @stratus.financial and am honored to have been their first recipient. Your support means so much to me, and I’ll keep you updated on my next rating.

This year, I earned my commercial certificate and my CFI! I took my family on a cross-country flight, enjoyed some amazing volunteer experiences, had my first CFI checkride pass with flying colors, soloed my first student, and hit 500 hours—all while balancing flight attendant work, home life, and making my two biggest supporters—my husband and daughter—proud.

I’m thankful for all of YOU and your continued motivation and support. I hope I’ve been able to make someone feel even half as valued and motivated as you’ve made me feel. I pray that 2025 is even better and that, even through difficult times, we grow closer to Him.

Even though our family received some heartbreaking news this year that still hurts, I know God is in control. I’m trusting Him and the path He has for me—because just look at what He did this year.

I didn’t make any new year resolutions last year and I think I’ll continue the let God do what He will trend. It seems to be working because what is it the young people say these days? Oh, that’s right…2024 ATE & LEFT NO CRUMBS!
