Sydney Dog-Friendly Cafes #1

🇦🇺 English

Spots we've actually been to with our pup 🐾

1. 📍 The Flying Bear, Kirribilli
Right on the water! Your pup can have a splash in the calm bay out front, then run around at the park next door.

2. 📍 Buoy Kiosk, near North Harbour Reserve
Absolutely gorgeous spot with heaps of dog walks nearby. Grab a coffee, then stroll and play at North Harbour Reserve. The soup is unreal!

3. 📍 The Newport, Newport
Stunning venue, and your dog is welcome! No booking needed, just rock up and find a free seat (reserved tables aren't dog-friendly). Pizza, grilled swordfish, beer and coffee.

4. 📍 Puppy Tail Cafe, Blackman Park Dog Park
A cafe inside the dog park! Woffles and doggy lattes for the pups, hot dogs and coffee for you. Pet milk and cookies too. Zoomies first, snacks after.

5. 📍 Pie in the Sky, Cowan
Our go-to pie stop on the way to the Hunter Valley. The beef pie is next level. We always pack treats and pet milk for our pup.

Which one should we cover next? 🐶☕

⁀જ➣ the flying bear, sydney — $$ 𑣲⋆

i had a bit of trouble locating this place but the walk was lovely. i've always enjoyed exploring kiribili and this time was no different! the place is at the wharf of the sydney flying squadron with an incredibly scenic view. super serene and i had an enjoyable breakfast there.

i got the bear's big breakfast ($31 aud) that came with eggs your way, grilled tomatoes, bacon, pork sausages, mushroom, hashbrown, kale and sourdough with pepe saya butter. that's was a lot on a plate and it was such a heart breakfast! i really enjoyed it with my iced chai latte ($7 aud) and a good book.

definitely a place i'd recommend if you're looking for a relaxing breakfast/brunch but seats are slightly limited. otherwise, great food, friendly staff and the occasional pesky seagulls and pigeons!

taste: ★★★★☆
