Teams across the Company recently worked together to organize and facilitate a test flight to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. To ensure the smoothest experience for our service to Anchorage, the Teams onboard...

🎧 ensured constant communication with Air Traffic Control as we transited through Canada,
✈️ assured the route was smooth and safe,
📶 tested the WiFi, so you can enjoy it on your flight to The Last Frontier, and so much more!

We can’t wait to officially launch service for our Passengers on May 15, 2026. We’ll see you soon! 💙❤️💛

Guess what, y’all… I just found out that I’ll be able to apply to become a Flight Attendant at Southwest Airlines next year! ✈️💛❤️💙 This is such a huge moment for me, and I’m honestly so excited I can barely sit still. Dreams really do come true when you stay focused, stay patient, and keep believing in yourself. 🫶🏻

I can’t wait to take this next step toward joining the Southwest family and turning my passion for aviation into a real career. The countdown officially begins! 💛❤️💙✨

I started my Southwest journey back in 2019 as simply an aviation photographer with a big dream and an even bigger admiration for the airline industry. From the very beginning, there was something special about Southwest Airlines that stood out to me. The culture, the heart, the energy, and the way they genuinely care for both their Employees and Customers made a lasting impression on me. It wasn’t just about airplanes — it was about people, connection, and serving others with purpose.

As the years have gone by, what began as admiration has grown into a calling. I have always wanted to become a Flight Attendant for SWA. Watching the LUV airline create unforgettable experiences while maintaining such a strong, fun, and people-centered culture only confirmed that this is where I belong. The spirit of hospitality and teamwork that Southwest represents is something I deeply connect with.

Now, as I look ahead to next year and officially begin my pursuit to become a Flight Attendant, I feel both excited and incredibly grateful. I’ve been blessed with many opportunities that have prepared me for this next step — opportunities that have strengthened my work ethic, leadership, and passion for serving others. Every experience has shaped me and brought me closer to this goal.

Becoming a Flight Attendant for the LUV airline isn’t just a career move for me — it’s a dream years in the making. It’s a chance to represent a company I’ve admired since 2019, to create meaningful moments for Customers, and to bring positivity and heart to every flight. I am thankful for how far I’ve come, hopeful for what’s ahead, and ready to continue chasing this dream with determination and gratitude.

Here’s to trusting the journey, embracing every opportunity, and hopefully earning my wings with Southwest. 💛❤️💙🫶🏻

Meet Olivier Louise-Jean, an aspiring aviator making powerful moves on the journey from Flight Attendant to Flight Officer. Training out of Mesa, AZ (KFFZ), Olivier is currently a Student Pilot and building a strong foundation toward the flight deck.

On November 24, 2025, Olivier completed a major milestone — a Solo Cross-Country flight 🛩️🔥. This achievement represents confidence, preparation, and the courage to take command solo — a defining step for any future professional pilot.

At SWitch: FA to FO, we celebrate every milestone along the climb. Olivier’s journey is proof that the transition is possible, one flight at a time.
