Flight Attendants and Allie’s were out in force today picketing for a living wage contract for @afahorizon Flight Attendants, who facilitate critical network for @alaskaair. Management two and a half years past due on delivering a fair contract. Enough is enough. CONTRACT NOW!

At several airports Flight Attendants picketed alongside Horizon Pilots fighting for a fair contract.

Thank you to @afaalaska, @akaflcio, @oregonaflcio, @waaflcio, @twulocal556, and so many more who support union Flight Attendants at Horizon!

Special shoutout to @marypeltola for lifting up our fight and visiting the picket line in ANC.

This is a FULL CIRCLE moment! Although my journey has taken me from SkyWest to the friendly skies, my commitment to the flight attendants I once represented has never left me. 💙

From serving as your former president of the SkyWest InFlight Association (SIA) to now advocating with AFA International President Sara Nelson the importance of SkyWest flight attendants unionizing and why so many of you have reached out with your own personal stories. Who would’ve thought?!

My experiences on both sides of representation have helped shaped my perspective and strengthened my commitment to the overall labor movement. SkyWest will always be part of my story, and the people who helped shape that chapter, I will always cherish.

Your fight is being heard from all over! Don’t give up and don’t quit. Stay energized.

From SIA to AFA. What a journey, what a moment, and what a time!

OO, IT’S TIME! 💙

Early voting starts tomorrow! My CWA friends, @afacwa Prez @flyingwithsara and PHEW VP Cook, took some time to stretch with me before we get out to vote.

It’s always good to be prepared. All you need to vote is a government-issued photo ID! votejustinj.com/vote

There’s only one place to be on December 9 – walking the picket line. Join Regional Flight Attendants across the industry for a National Day of Action to demand an end to poverty wages, tiers in aviation, and improve quality of life.

Across the industry mainline carriers have finalized new contracts. But, Flight Attendants at regional carriers, especially at PSA and Horizon, are still fighting for new contracts that are long overdue from American and Alaska. Piedmont and Envoy began negotiations. Endeavor and Republic/Mesa will start negotiations in December and January respectively. Flight Attendants at regional carriers need the same contract framework that includes double digit wage increases, boarding pay, scheduling improvements, and more.

No matter the uniforms we wear, we’re all united in the fight to raise the standards of our career. Undervaluing a Flight Attendant anywhere undervalues us everywhere. Save the date and make plans to join Regional Flight Attendants on December 9th for a National Day of Action at airports across the country.
