Our Lady Aviator of the Day is @flywithnadia !

“Hiiii :) My name is Nadia! I am 23 and a private pilot with an instrument rating currently based out of Orange County, CA!

Growing up I was always fascinated by airplanes (which I think was sparked by watching top gun on repeat with my dad lol). I thought it would be so cool to be a pilot but I didn’t really know anyone in the industry or where to start with it. One day in 2020 I called a local flight school in MN and took my first flight lesson the next day. I never stopped flying after that!

Right now I am enjoying GA but hope to get my commercial license soon. I currently also work as a Systems Engineer at Boeing focusing on space systems. My goal is to fly as many cool airplanes to as many cool places as possible and enjoy whatever route that takes me! My favorite part of aviation is the community of people and how supportive and inspiring everyone is! My advice is to soak it all in and remember why you started and it will make the hard days all worth it!

See you in the skies!! 🩵✈️”
