HAPPY NATIONAL FARMERS DAY! 👩‍🌾 Our farmers work HARD at the market and this is practically their DAY OFF! 😳 They start setting up on the plaza at 7AM, which means they probably packed their trucks by 6AM, which means they probably woke up at 4AM! 😴 They carry EVERYTHING onto the plaza by hand, set up their tents and tables and arrange all their beautiful products with so much care… and some of them do ALL of this ALONE!

And that’s just ONE day of their week! The rest of the time, they’re out in the fields growing all that beautiful local food we LOVE! 🪏🌱 We are so lucky to have such hardworking, dedicated farmers in our community! ❤️

So come show your farmers some extra LOVE today! SHOP LOCAL, say THANK YOU and remember just how much hard work goes into every bite! 🍅🥦🥕

Today is National Farmers Day, a day to celebrate our hardworking farmers who are dedicated to caring for the land and growing the food we depend on. We are so thankful for our local growers and the relationships we have built🧡 We are proud to host over 25 seasonal California farmers each year and give them a space to sell directly to consumer. Shop with us, get to know your farmer, and thank them for their efforts of love!

Enjoy yourself with Saturday Life and October Skies! Stop on by the market today anytime till 2pm and hangout for a while. We’ve got great music from Steve Taylor, plenty of fresh fall fruits and veggies and a great atmosphere to have a cup of coffee or cider and just relax. Fall is also the time to take care of some maintenance before the winter comes, so make sure to bring your knives, shovels, gardening tools and more to our sharpener, Strap & Stone, who can take care of it while you shop around the market! The Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market is located at 33113 Grand River Ave. We’ll see you soon! ________________________________________________________ #farmingtonfarmersmarket #farmersmarketsmi #farmersmarkets #michigan #puremichigan

When you shop at your local farmers market, you’re not just buying a tomato, a loaf of bread, or a bouquet of flowers. You’re investing in the farmer who grew it, the small business that made it, and the community that brings it all together💚
