Developed over 2 years, The Launch Edition Virtuoso Deck was birthed in a time when Cardistry was the underdog - a tiny, underserved, community within the magic industry that was mocked by companies as “commercially unviable”.
—
Through the creation of the first Cardistry deck, Virtuoso’s mission was to establish Cardistry as an independent art form by giving Cardists something they could finally call their own.
—
Breaking every commercial and traditional design trend at the time, the deck introduced “Adaptive Aesthetics”, a Cardistry-focused design that visually accentuated every card flourish performed with it.
—
In 2012, through the support of the small but passionate Cardistry community, the deck became a reality and instant success - proving its naysayers wrong and making waves in the entire playing card industry.
—
More than a deck of cards, the Launch Edition Virtuoso Deck is a piece of Cardistry history - or perhaps, the piece - that sparked the exponential rise of Cardistry into the force that it is today.
—
Want one? Hunt for clues in our next post. Five winners will be picked - you might just be one of them.
