We had a beautiful day and a nice turnout for the annual Teen Self Care Fair this weekend! Teens got to check out aerial silks, long swords, cartooning, and hip-hop dance (among so much more!). They learned about financial literacy through fun activities with our sponsors at @elevationscu. We even enjoyed a super chill sound bath in the digital dome theater and got to pet some sweet therapy dogs. Many thanks to our partners at the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of a Larimer County for the important work they do in supporting mental health and wellness for all.

If you or someone you know needs support, please text or call 988. You are not alone.

We'll see you next year!

September... A month of wild contrasts.

Year 6 of @craft_colorado was smooth, vibrant, inspiring, and filled with friends and incredible artists. So thankful to everyone involved for all the work poured into it this year and all the years prior. @mighty_mutomo 's birthday was filled with all the activities and much fall beauty. Access Fund's 35th birthday weekend came a week after CRAFt. After supporting the planning for many months, it was a big hit!

And

Gus spent two nights in the emergency vet in very bad shape, but happy to report he is recovering well. I spent a fortune on a transmission fix for my car. I got stuck in an elevator en route to the Access Fund dinner. Burnout from all the events was upon me all month.

And yet

I was also surrounded and supported by many friends and community. Who showed up and showed out for CRAFt. Who donated to Gus's GoFundMe🙏🙏. Who dealt with my temporary insanity from it all.

So, thankful to all the humans and creatures in this life with me.

...now back to posting all these songs I've been sitting on. Thanks to all who have watched and liked and shared ☺️

Over the weekend, Coach @cuba412 received a Community Leadership award at the @foco_flava jam. For the past 5 years he has been an integral part of our studio, carrying on our legacy of educational excellence with our youth programs. Beyond the studio he has lead countless after school programs, camps all over the state and has been the head of the Breakin program for @mad_fresh_productions_ in Pueblo Colorado. He has impacted hundreds if not thousands of young lives and we could not be more proud to have him play such a large role at our studio.

We are wary of “community leadership” awards, as leadership should never be a competition. That being said, this one is beyond well deserved!

You can get your kids training with Coach Cuba today.
Little Kids Breakin is every Wednesday at 5pm and Tomorrow Youth intro to Breakin every Thursday at 5pm, in the place to be, the @bboyfactory.
