A fashion retailer launches a magazine.
And suddenly, the line between retail, publishing and culture gets a little blurrier.

REVOLVE Magazine is an interesting case study in what fashion brands are becoming, not just places to shop, but platforms that decide what we discover, where we go and what we talk about.

And yes, you can actually buy it from a vending machine.

A launch OfNote, naturally.

After making her debut at Paris Fashion Week in October of last year and showing there for two seasons, @magdabutrym held first #NYFW show (which coincided with the opening of her NYC flagship store on Mercer). I loved this collection 🖤🖤 photographed for @flauntmagazine

CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist @shopjamiehaller’s debut presentation at New York Fashion Week is a love letter to the everyday woman. Attempting to master the perfect Penny loafer during the pandemic, the interior-designer-turned-fashion-designer creates clothes that she herself would wear, and the elevated functionality of her garments has gained her quite the fan base.

Haller’s Spring 2027 Ready-To-Wear collection expands her world into tailored shirting, messenger bags, embroidered jeans, and minimalist workwear. With strong nods to her West Coast home base and a warm desert palette inspired by the American Southwest, the collection is an achievement in quiet refinement and the sophistication of taste.

This past Friday in Flatiron, guests dropped in to a choreographed presentation of the new collection. Attendees spanned US and international editors, key tastemakers, stylists and fashion executives, and art and design industry leaders.
