POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I seriously have the BEST job ever!!!

Every time I get to spend time with my team members, I drive home on cloud nine. Then I wake up the next morning… STILL on cloud nine. And just when I think I couldn’t possibly love my job any more, I start going through all the pictures we took and there I am… right back on cloud nine AGAIN!!!

I spent 13 years teaching first and second graders before making the jump to working with high schoolers behind my lens for these past 12 years. And I can honestly say, I have absolutely LOVED both seasons of my life.

From the littlest ones to the almost-grown ones… there is just something so special about being a small part of their stories.
25 years of working with kids/teens, and I still can’t believe I get to call this my JOB!!!

Thank you to each and every one of you who chooses me and trusts me to capture YOU through my lens. It truly means more to me than you’ll ever know! 🤍

🐻💙 It takes a village, and we’re so glad we’re building ours together! 💙🐻
Today, some of our Borchardt Bears PTO board members got to join the 2nd graders on their field trip to Fog Willow Farms! 🐄🐷🌾 And honestly, these are the moments that remind us why being involved matters so much.
Joining the PTO is about more than supporting your child’s school, organizing events, or fundraising. It’s about showing up. It’s about building friendships, creating connections, making memories, and becoming part of a village that supports our kids and one another. 💙
Sometimes, the most meaningful part of being involved isn’t what we do for the school — it’s the people we meet along the way. The parents who become friends, the families who become familiar faces, and the community we build together, one little moment at a time. 🫶
You don’t have to have all the answers, tons of free time, or special skills to be part of the PTO. You just have to be willing to show up in whatever way you can.
Come find your village with us! 🐻💙 We’d love to have you as part of our Borchardt Bears family!

How are we already halfway through October?! 🎃🍂

It definitely doesn’t feel like fall yet because it’s been hot as hell! 😂

This month has been a weird mix of unexpected experiences, some challenging moments, and some really amazing memories. A little bit of everything, honestly.

But I’m ready for the cooler weather, cozy sweaters, crisp mornings, changing leaves, and all the little things that make fall feel so magical.

Come on, Mother Nature! I’m ready for fall to actually feel like fall! 🍁🧡

Pumpkin patch season is upon us! 🎃 I've been going to Fog Willow Farm every year for the last 8 years! Fun fact, my husband and I had our fourth date here and that's when I knew he was the one. 🤭 (It's our 8 year first date-iversary today 💞). Now we bring our daughter every year. 🥹❤️

This pumpkin patch is filled with family fun activities like the petting zoo, hay/ train rides, and my daughter's absolute favorite: the pig and duck races! 🐷🦆 You can grab some sweet treats, food for yourself, and food to feed the goats! 🐐 I got the soft serve and lemonade. 🍋 (I should have got the Dole Whip 🙈)

This year they added a new ride area called The Back Forty with an additional cost $8/participant, it's a huge slide and had a bouncy area as well. We didn't try this, but looks fun! 🛝 Entrance to the Farm is $12/ person for ages 3 and up. Check them out before the season ends! 🎃

Reminder: Stay hydrated! It's going to be a hot weekend! ☀️
