Love, Italian Style.

Nina & Drew wanted their wedding to feel like an Italian harvest celebration- with bespoke details, autumn fruits and florals, and a palette of rich wines, soft blues, and bright pinks. We hand painted olive oil bowls to harken Italian folk painted pottery, enlisted Dionysus & Aphrodite for a bit of cheekiness, and the weather did its part sending the yellow leaves of cherry trees all over as nature’s confetti.
The day was full of beauty, meaning, and charm- and just like Nina & Drew, full of fun. Happy anniversary to this incredible pair, Cin! Cin!

August 15, 2026: I blinked and turned 36.

Celebrated in my hometown with my favorite people.

Tried a coffee shop on my list. Shopped for vintage. Went to @primon5th for one of the best dirty martinis. Had dinner at @fillomoderngreek. Won $220 on roulette at the casino while wearing a cliché birthday crown.

Visited both nonnas (89 & 91), listened to their stories & flipped through old photos. Left with the advice to “just enjoy life and have fun.”

That’s the plan. ✨

Did you know that for centuries, diamonds were shaped only by bruting -the process of grinding two diamonds together- which allowed for very few shapes. The invention of the scaife (the diamond cutter’s wheel) in the 15th century made possible the fancy facets we love today!

Also, a wedding ring (diamond or not) truly is for richer or poorer. It’s one of the few possessions that can’t be seized as an asset in bankruptcies!
