Hubei turquoise has been one of my favorite stones to work with lately—and looking at this stone, I’m sure you can see why. Isn’t she stunning?
.
Turquoise is a powerful stone for spiritual attunement, for healing and cleansing energy, and for providing energetic protection. It elevates our energy, aligning the physical with the spiritual, and assists in meditation while also keeping us grounded. Turquoise strengthens and aligns all chakras (though particularly the heart and throat), and heals the spirit, bringing peace of mind.
.
This beauty can be found at @folly_sol , alongside lots of other local artists and creatives. Thank you for shopping small and soulful!

My displays may sometimes get messy 😅 but I always try to curate a special collection of items for every restock.

This weekend I was BUSY driving around restocking @roadsideblooms_shop and @themarketparadiso @themarketparadiso in North Charleston, @wildcraft.chs in West Ashley, and @folly_sol down on Folly Beach! If you’re out and about this holiday weekend, (1) stay safe! And (2) be sure and show some love to some of the shops that support local makers 🫶🏼🙌🏼

Water is the first ingredient in many conventional lotions. 💧

Why does that matter?

Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first ingredient is typically present in the highest amount.

At Sun y Alma, I chose a different approach. Every ingredient in our formulas is there with intention because I believe my son’s skin deserves nourishing ingredients, not unnecessary fillers and chemicals I couldn’t pronounce. And so do you and your family.

🌿 Quality over shortcuts. Always.

✨ Curious about what’s in your skincare? Leave a 🫶 in the comments or stop by one of our local retailers to experience the difference for yourself.

Thinking about trying Embrace Sol? ☀️

Don’t just take our word for it…read through real reviews from customers who made the switch. 💛

When I created Embrace Sol, I wasn’t trying to make “just another sunscreen.” I was creating something I felt good about putting on my own family.

That’s why every jar is handcrafted with just 7 intentionally selected ingredients and no water, no fillers, and no synthetic fragrance.

Why is that important?

💛 No water means every ingredient in the jar has a purpose. Many skincare products use water as the primary ingredient, but I chose nutrient-rich oils and butters instead.

🌿 No unnecessary fillers means you’re getting a concentrated formula made with ingredients chosen to nourish and protect your skin.

☀️ 23.4% non-nano, uncoated zinc oxide provides mineral UV protection without chemical UV filters.

♻️ We package every batch in recyclable amber glass not plastic to better protect the integrity of the formula while reducing plastic waste.

Every batch is made with:
• Organic African shea butter
• Organic cold-pressed coconut oil
• Organic red raspberry seed oil
• Organic beeswax
• Non-GMO vitamin E
• Organic cacao powder
• 23.4% non-nano, uncoated zinc oxide

Thank you to every customer who has trusted our family-owned business and taken the time to leave a review. Your support means more than you know.

Sun y Alma began in my kitchen, not a boardroom.

It started with one little boy. 🤍

I couldn’t find skincare I truly felt good about using on my son, so I started making my own with clean, organic, thoughtfully chosen ingredients.

What started as a mother’s search for better has grown into a collection I’m proud to share with other families.

🌿 Clean. Organic. Non-toxic.
Made with intention. Made with love.

✨ Shop local. Shop intentional.
