For a long time having kids early i felt left behind.

I did a hard thing last week and produced my own one woman show: WORTHY at @thebloomsburytheatre

At times my inner child was loud. My inner critic, louder. Doubt from others who have not seen what I am capable of - even louder.

Despite some wobbles, my self-trust was steadfast, because if you want to do something that’s unexpected, you have to back yourself first.

I love nothing more than being on stage.

The audience was electric.
If you were there - thank you.

I did a brave thing. I’m proud of myself 😊

Ps. The affirmation at the beginning of this video is one of many I had around my home months before the show ☺️

Something special must have been in the water in 2006.
That year, @coachjennygarrett OBE began her coaching business. A joy today to celebrate 20 years of her and her team’s tremendous impact, at the House of Lords.

That same year, @folukeakinlosembe launched the @precious_awards.
This evening, we launched the 20th annual Awards at the British Library with the fitting theme of Legacy.

Also in 2006, I started Color Blind Cards.
Three different journeys. One truth, regardless of the founder title, none of us achieves anything alone.
Special day overflowing with connection, community and a reminder of what becomes possible when we are seen and see ourselves. ♥️

As the radical Global Majority Disabled AF Oracle, my existences and energies live outside time and space. So I share this post as usual, beyond any algorithm and oppressive system.

On 23 June, I had the privilege and honour of attending my beloved friend @novareidofficial’s one-woman live show “Worthy” at @thebloomsburytheatre. It was raw, awe-inducing, and life-affirming.
.
It was so joyful to see the extraordinary @thekymoliver, @folukeakinlosembe, Dr. @sanah_ahsan, and Abi Graham, and to meet lots of lovely people: pure magic and Revolutionary LOVE®.
.
And I also want to add that, following my recent hospital admission, I’m so grateful I was well enough to attend Nova’s event in person. I couldn’t be more grateful that it was my first outing since then. It was what my ecosystemic-energies (LandBodyMindSoulLove) needed at my core.
.
There is so much more that I could say about the event, but that’s for those who were there in person with me. Regardless, the event, or rather Nova’s powerful and kind wisdom, access intimacy, and Revolutionary LOVE® was (or rather is) healing, heartful, and hopeful.
.
Thank you, Nova, for all that you are and all that you do. I love you, friend. You make my existences and energies more curious, compassionate, and courageous every day.

Additionally, in this ongoing global polycrisis that is becoming a devastating, universal, interconnected metacrisis, I share a vital daily reminder for you and me, all of us, human and more-than-human ecosystems, while we continue destroying the cis-able, neocolonial-oppressive, racist-supremacist, hegemonic-capitalist, heteronormative patriarchy: You are always more than enough.

May we all (human and more-than-human ecosystems) get free together.

For international women’s month I was invited by @Preciousawards founder @folukeakinlosembe to attend a small group of 20 past award winners, to recognise two decades of celebrating excellence, leadership, and impact.

Hosted by Apple HQ the event celebrated us and founder @folukeakinlosembe

It was great catching up with so many familiar faces that have been brought together by this wonderful community of women of colour.

Although I won my award 16 years ago I remember the moment clearly walking being seated with the wonderful @vanessasanyauke and @_careeta_

The shock of winning and then the wonderful community afterwards I will forever be grateful.
