🌟 Makeathon Team 13 Highlight 🌟

Chandler is a Vanderbilt Alumni who majored in Electrical and Computer engineering in the class of 2018. Even though Chandler was paralyzed from the waist down after a shooting in 2024, this has not dampened his passion for engineering. In collaboration with Chandler, Team 13 designed and prototyped a modular desk space for his wheelchair that would allow him to modify his configuration for any projects he is working on. They also adapted a set of tools to allow him to do gardening work and pick up things from his wheelchair. Chandler not only provided this team with remarkable input and ideas, but also inspired everyone to pursue their passion no matter what setbacks we face. Team 13 set out to change Chandler’s life and ended receiving an incredible impact on their own lives as well.
