Tell me this isn’t the Rosebud Motel without telling me it’s the Rosebud Motel. 🏨🌹 Foothills Motel, you have my whole heart (and my aesthetic-obsessed soul). If you haven’t stayed here yet, what are you even doing with your life? Pack a bag, grab your best Schitt’s Creek quotes, and get over here! 🚗💨 #FoothillsMotel #SchittsCreekVibes #AuburnCA #RosebudMotel #staylocal

It’s hard to cruise along I-80 through Auburn without noticing the glowing neon of the Foothill Motel. A classic piece of roadside Americana, its sign has been welcoming travelers to the foothills for decades. Whether you’re passing through or calling Auburn home, it’s one of those landmarks that leave a lasting impression.

The recently released @noaddressmovie, starring @thebillybaldwin and @ashanti, was filmed at a 50s-inspired hotel in Auburn, which provided a welcome financial boost thanks to the large @robertcraigfilmsofficial production crew.

I recently had the chance to discuss how the state’s new film tax credits could bring more films like this to Placer. View the interview at the link in our bio.

Sneak peek of one of my recent collaborations!

If you’re looking for a stylish and convenient stop along Highway 80, then Foothills Retro-Modern Motel is the place for you. It’s a fully renovated chic motel, and the perfect spot whether you’re headed to or from Tahoe! And here’s a fun bonus: there’s a bowling alley right next door for some extra entertainment.

I stayed in one of their most popular rooms featuring a private wrap-around balcony adorned with twinkle lights. Let me tell you, it had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!

Everything was spotlessly clean and cozy, with thoughtful touches like complimentary tea, coffee, and makeup wipes that truly enhanced the experience.

I can’t wait to share more of the beautiful grounds and pool when the weather warms up!

Highly recommend this gem. Stay tuned for more!!
