Life is a celebration ! have an absolute bobby ball catching the final performance of Lacage! having been written 40 years about the show is still so relevant what do you expect with @theharveyfierstein ensuring every word is the perfect word! The production was so clever and stage so incredibly well the set pieces were hand picked with care and really hit the spot . the costumes by @laightyboyy were bloody fantastic the texture and movement done the the structure was a costume lovers dream. his use of fabric deserves an ovation all of its own ! With a cast of smashers it was so good to see a proper proper good and elevated production of la cage ! @carlmullaney had me as soon as the set piece swung round there naturalist and un-caricaturist portal of Alban was a masterclass. @stephen.mear new what the audience wanted and gave it us... he never drops the ball. A shout out to @danielecoombe who's is just eye candy... give her a wig and a fag and a pair of glasses is like watching a 3 act play ... SEE YOU NEXT YEAR ........ HEY MR PRODUCERS .. have a word !!!

La Cage aux Folles (Part 1). The most joyful summer alongside an incredibly beautiful, talented, generous company of humans. My heart is so full - I couldn’t wish for more.

La Cage Aux Folles - Regents Park Open Air theatre 2023. Words can’t quite describe this process. I am so incredibly grateful to have worked with such an amazing cast, crew and creatives who are ALL, TOP of their games. From the costumes, to the set and lighting design to the wonderful choreography, it really has been the biggest blessing of my career so far and probably ever. To my beautiful cast, you are the kindest, most talented bunch and I thank you for all of the laughs and encouragement after 5 weeks of 12 hour days 🤒 😂. I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish and the story we’ve been lucky enough to tell. Now let’s go out with a bang. ❤️🫶🏻
