Some highlights from our inaugural GIRLS JUST WANNA GO FISH — a just-for-fun all women’s fishing derby in Tofino BC!!!

A few weeks back, we hosted this coho salmon derby in collaboration with @tofinooceanadventures to celebrate the end of summer + fishing season in Tofino.

Our Go Fish series has been SO popular, and we wanted to create a day where even more women could get out on the water whether that meant hopping on one of the charter boats or grabbing a group of gals + joining in on a local boat.

Even though we whipped this up last minute we ended up with 73 female anglers + 20 boats out on the water!!!

We gave away 29 amazing prizes thanks to all the amazing businesses + brands who supported the day, and the energy from start to finish was just so good.

We were so stoked to see this idea come to life and already can’t wait to do it all over again next September!!!

Hosted an all-women’s, just-for-fun fishing derby last weekend in partnership with @tofinooceanadventures to celebrate the end of summer, fishing season here in Tofino + female anglers!

We had 20 boats + 73 women out fishing and gave out 29 different prizes!! The day was SO much fun, people really showed up in the best costumes + we couldn’t have asked for better weather!

We’re so grateful for all the brands and local businesses who jumped in to support this event, especially with how last minute we pulled it together.

I will miss the fern-clustered forests of Vancouver Island

Little rock islands dotted with trees too

A fine banana slug

The best coffee in Tofino

Every time I visited Tofino it was different - from the weather conditions to the migratory wildlife. This was my first experience of Fogust.

Many beach pages read on this trip

The ever-impressive beach forts and driftwood of the Pacific North West

A beautiful evening session

Long Beach breakfast setup

Tofino Market goods! I’m so happy to have these as a piece of the Island back in the UK.
