Join me and my sidekick for a brief general overview of the beloved Ruger P series of handguns and a rifle. A true high water mark in Rugers history if you ask me and a great line of guns even today.

Awesome area 4 prep match at Wallis Orchard Practical Shooters this past Sunday. I shot very conservatively and still feel like I need to build my confidence up with the Kopesh. Stage plans were good, hits were good, time definitely needs to be improved. I had a few make ups on steel that definitely slowed me down quite a bit.

28th out of 88 overall and 10th out of 36 in #uspsalimitedoptics with 137 Alphas 36 Charlies 1 Mike and 1 NS ( that I made up for an Alpha ) Total time of 147.68 😤

A walk down memory lane with some old Ruger wheelguns. My daughter still appreciates the big and small iron just like the old man!

I’ve been seeing more of these out in the wild and that’s a good thing. For a while you could get a mint Star 30M in the box with 2 mags and some extras under 3 clams. A really solid steel wonder nine. If you’re like me and am a fan of old S&W autos or Ruger P series and similar pistols then this is a great fit. Big and solid, great shooter and almost always in nice shape. Surplus deal of our time right here if you don’t miss it.
