Thank you @impalasccreno & @forever14org for putting together another powerful show for suicide awareness. YOUR LIFE MATTERS.
Losing @cloudywithachanceofj made this year hit so much deeper. We don’t always understand the struggle, but we hope you are at peace. Sometimes the brain is sick and the heart carries too much.
Events like this are tough to navigate, but losing the people we love to suicide is so much harder. Remind yourself and each other: suicide is never the answer.
If you ever need someone to reach out to, please message us. We are here to listen and stand by you in love and solidarity. 🤍

❤️ JOIN US FOR A CAUSE THAT MATTERS ❤️

This year, the Impalas Car Club is coming together once again with Forever 14 to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health.

This year hits close to home as we honor the memory of Jordan, 48, one of our own club members, while continuing to honor Caleb, who was just 14 years old their lives where tragically lost to suicide.

On Saturday the 26th, join us for our car show, with proceeds benefiting Forever 14 and their continued mission of suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

🚘 Come out, enjoy the cars, support an important cause, and help us honor Jordan and Caleb, and all those we’ve lost.

Can’t make it? Donations are still greatly appreciated. Every contribution helps support Forever 14 and their mission. Send us a DM on how to support.

Together, we can spread awareness, support those who are struggling, and remind someone that their life matters. ❤️

I know I’m a little late posting this, but I wanted to wait until my final scores were officially released!

This summer, I had the incredible honor of representing Nevada, @nvfccla @washoeschools and the @aactreno (AACT), at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.

After earning 1st Place in Nevada in Professional Presentation Level 3, I qualified for Nationals. During nationals I wasn’t called to the stage for the Top 10, so I thought I placed low. Later, FCCLA National contacted me to let me know there had been a scoring error.

I’m honored to share that I actually placed 4th in the Nation with a final score of 99.333 out of 100 in the 2026 NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE! While I missed the opportunity to walk across the national stage, I’m incredibly grateful the record was corrected.

My presentation focused on the importance of mental health awareness and early intervention, highlighting the work of @forever14org . I even brought Forever 14 signs with me to Washington, D.C., to help spread awareness throughout the conference.

One quote that has stayed with me came from licensed therapist Danielle Fargo:

“"We're trying to help students when they're already on the brink of going over the waterfall. Our focus should be preventing them from getting there in the first place."

That analogy reminds us why early intervention matters. As Dr. Christine McNeill shared with me during an interview, we need to connect people with resources and support before they reach the edge of the waterfall.

Thank you to my AACT FCCLA chapter, my advisor Chef Jo, Forever 14, and everyone who supported me throughout this journey. This was my final year competing in FCCLA as a high school student, and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything this organization has given me. Thank you to my Chef Jo, Ms.Fargo, @kerfree_envy and everyone else who help me!

❤️ 4th in the Nation
💙 99.333/100
💛 Proud to represent Nevada!

If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet Kerri, the founder of Forever14, we’d love to introduce you to her and the incredible organization she created.

Forever14 has been an amazing community partner, and we are so grateful for their support, not just for this event, but for the many times Kerri has spoken our name in rooms where we weren’t present. Her belief in our mission and willingness to advocate for our work means more than words can express.

Thank you, Kerri. Thank you, Forever14. We’re honored to have your support and look forward to welcoming you to our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser as our Hole-In-One Sponsor, on Monday, August 3rd, as well as many more opportunities we will have to collaborate in the future.
