Over due post from my DC trip ⚖️: I was able to learn so much from the @naeh_endhomelessness and all ways CoCs are helping tackle homelessness across the country. Being able to be in rooms with game changers and leaders, especially in these tough times- charged me up & inspired me to do more. This wasn’t just a trip but a master class in change and what community can do! #fyp #naeh #homelessness #leadership #community #changeinaction #hsncfl

I encourage anyone who sees this post to pledge or make a one-time donation to ELEVATE Orlando. @elevate_orlando Yesterday I attended ELEVATE Orlando’s 15th Anniversary of impacting the lives of Urban Youth in Central Florida. I have witnessed across multiple mission-driven organizations who are out doing good work, but ELEVATE has caught my attention and my faith. I met a young lady, in 12th grade, who has a clothing brand which she began in the 9th grade. ☄️ I met a young man who models and plays basketball. I got to share with him how strategic planning is such an important skill to develop. ☄️ I met a young man who is making his mark to attend college soon and to blaze a trail. He asked me to rate his presentation/public speaking from 1-10, and I told him to walk in the 10 instead of what I rate him. ☄️ I met a young lady, in 9th grade, who runs track and field, and was recently baptized. She is on fire for Jesus—I sense a kind of leadership in her that I never witnessed before. ☄️ I met a young lady who aspires to innovate and create fair employment opportunities for people! ☄️ I met a young lady who plays the saxophone 🎷—my favorite instrument! I look forward to collaborating an art/dance piece with her shortly. ☄️ May the Lord bless you and keep you. Thank you @elevate_orlando ! And, I love you sis @queendeirdra

This season of my life is probably called “I don’t know but I don’t need to.” I didn’t know I’d be here among these beautiful ladies living out one of our childhood dreams. Though challenging, I’m choosing to be okay with not knowing. It ignites faith & if given to God, is a kryptonite for anxiety. Cheers to more beautiful experiences of not needing to know but resting in the one who knows it all🥂 Thank you for nostalgic, & needed evening beauties 🤍🐆 • • #sisterhood #cheetahgirls #cheetahlicious #gabriella #disney #nostalgic #childhoodmemories #childhooddreams #daughters #Jesusgirls #womenempowerment #womensupportingwomen
