💎🤠 Denim & Diamonds TONIGHT! 🤠💎 We’ve been having a little fun behind the bar putting together a menu inspired by rhinestones, rodeos, whiskey, and one very famous blonde from Tennessee. A few familiar faces are making a return, including Dolly’s Dimple, Jolene, and our Nine to Five, served with a side shot of our house-made Irish cream in a cowboy boot. We’re also pulling out a couple special bottles from Breckenridge Distillery. The Revolver features their Buddy Pass, a whiskey finished in Imperial Stout barrels that brings notes of coffee, chocolate, caramel, and spice to the glass. And for the California Gold Rush, we’re pouring Breckenridge’s award-winning High Proof Bourbon, a bold 105-proof whiskey packed with caramel, orange peel, vanilla, and baking spice. Add in a pop-up from Forge Cuts, your finest denim and diamonds, and we have all the makings of a pretty memorable Wednesday night. 🎟️ Denim & Diamonds is a ticketed event through the Livermore Downtown Association. Thank you to everyone that I chatted with during the @bayareayarncrawl and those who bought kits during my trunk shows! It’s been fun to see them popping up in your crawl haul posts. Special thanks to @araneacraftstudio @avenueyarns and @stitchandrevel for hosting me for trunk shows and meet and greets. I’m at yarn shops all the time, but tucked away in the classroom, so it was nice to just hang out for a few hours greeting the craft community. I didn’t have time for much shopping, but did come home with three pairs of @forgecuts earrings. I also got a bunch of Visible Mending done while demonstrating, including embroidery (stick and stitch pattern from @byhandcraftco plus freehand flowers) and woven patches. Bay Area Yarn Crawl merch! We had a lot of merch options to choose from this year, so each shop will have a slightly different offering. To see everything, check the posts from @bayareayarncrawl! Coven Of Stitches will have these items: 👜 20 BAYCrawl canvas mini totes ($35) 👛 Della-Q Oh Snap bags, 5 large/green ($39) and 10 small/yellow ($24) 👝 10 Dawn Kathryn zipper pouches ($23) 🐸 25 Dawn Kathryn stickers ($3) 🧷 100 Forge Cuts stitch markers ($3) - ours are the purple wooden hexagon in the lower right of the image In addition to the regular merch stitch markers, we are making our own little frog on a lilypad markers that will be free with any purchase or $2 each. I know a lot of folks were disappointed that we ran out of the crawl branded stitch markers quickly last year, and since I only got 100 of them we are probably going to run out of them again this year. We have about 1000 of these cute little frogs though, so I highly doubt we will run out of these! We have really limited numbers of the crawl merch, so if you see something you love and cannot live without I recommend planning to visit us or one of the other 23 shops on day 1 of the crawl! That’s Friday, March 13, only 37 days from now! 😱

For 2026, we worked with 4 makers: @aneedlerunsthroughit @forgecuts @hapbee_creativestudios @jostudio.art …to create an assortment of stitch markers to delight all kinds of crafters. Not all shops carry all markers, so make sure to follow all the shops to see who is carrying which markers.    @commacraftco Point Protectors Corrie painstakingly adapted Dawn’s illustration to transform Karl into point protectors. Made of soft, BPA-free silicone, they are simply adorable and keep your stitches defended against the chaos of the universe.   Holographic Sticker Don’t we wish we were all crafting on a log in a pond, as stylish and unbothered as Karl? Meet the folks who made our merch: Part 2 of 2. For 2026, our merch plan can be summed up as: SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE! We designed a variety of items so that each crafter can find something they like, then ordered enough so it isn’t entirely sold out in the first two days. Hopefully.

At the same time, we wanted to honor our guiding value of “local first.” We give priority to local vendors, as a means to both support small businesses in our community and minimize environmental impact. Get to know the folks who made your bags, stitch markers, and more! @envirotote Enviro-Tote, Inc. is a family-owned, woman-owned and operated company in New Hampshire. Preservation of the environment is central to their business philosophy. Each bag is individually cut and sewn in the USA by skilled employees to ensure the highest quality. For the 2026 BAYCrawl, Enviro-Tote has made heavy-duty mini market totes, embroidered with the BAYCrawl logo. They also made the zip-pouches onto which Dawn Kathryn hand-printed Karl! @forgecuts Based in Livermore, Forge Cuts Wooden Creations makes laser cut wooden and acrylic jewelry, decor, and more. They design their own pieces, as well as accept custom orders, to bring  their customers’ desires to life. For the 2026 BAYCrawl, Forge Cuts made exclusive stitch makers, reflecting each shop’s unique aesthetic, allowing makers to find one to fit their project! @hapbee_creativestudios Tracy from HapBee Creative Studios hand-crafts tools that solve knitters’ and crocheters’ common challenges and frustrations. Created by hand in Utah, her stitch makers are lightweight and crafted with care so they won’t tug or pull at your precious yarn. For the 2026 BAYCrawl, she designed an exclusive 2-piece set of stitch makers featuring Karl. @jostudio.art Jo Stockdale is a lifelong creative artist, making under her personal brand, Jo Studio, for the past five years. Based in the East Bay, her work is driven by color and a love of nature, taking form in stickers, art prints, hand printed bags, and more! For the 2026 BAYCrawl, Jo made exclusive stitch markers featuring Karl the Frog.
