Happy National Nonprofit Day 🎉

Today honors the vital role charitable organizations play in bridging gaps and building stronger communities.

For youth navigating difficult circumstances, major milestones can easily pass by unnoticed. A custom, freshly baked cake made just for them is so much more than a treat—it’s a powerful reminder that they are seen, valued, and cherished by their community.

At For Goodness Cakes, our mission is simple but powerful: making sure kids and youth in foster care get to experience the joy of receiving a birthday cake.

Help us spread the word — donate, sign up as a volunteer, or share this post with a friend who’d love to bake for a cause! ✨🎉💛

A big thank you to all our partner agencies, volunteers, and supporters who make our mission possible! 🫶🏻🥳

April is National Volunteer Month. And this month For Goodness Cakes will be recognizing the invaluable impact of our Super Sprinklers…the members of the Sprinkle Squad who have gone above and beyond to bake beautiful cakes and cupcakes in support of the children and youth overcoming adversity.

Meet Erica Siegel! Erica is from the Philadelphia Chapter. In 2025, Erica completed an amazing 18 bakes, making her the top Philly baker of the year. Her time, talent, and generosity showed up time and again in the most delicious way. Thank you, Erica, for being such a reliable and big-hearted part of the Philly Chapter and our FGC community. We truly couldn’t do this without you!

Thank you, Erica. We are so happy to have you as a member of the Sprinkle Squad!
