This is the hardest and happiest goodbye I’ve ever had to make.

To @camp.spain, you may not be pictured here, but you were the catalyst for my last 3 years. You showed me what personal growth was waiting for me in college.

To Camp Dostal, you were alright I guess. But seriously, you brought me my best friends, showed me what caring for others really looks like, and introduced me to a new world of kindness. I’ll always be there for y’all.

To Camp Lee: you taught me about leading by example, dedication, and friends. Whereas I thought I’d made all the close friends I could from FC through Dostal, I made even more and my support network grew likewise. Chili’s soon??

To Camp Richards: I’m SO proud of everything you’ve done. It’s unreal to me that just a few months ago you were all faceless IDs on a paper, and now you’re all shining faces who show up for the right reasons and have fun while you do it. You all killed it and I don’t think I can take credit because the tools were within each of you from the start. Seeing you at camp is one of the proudest moments of my life. You’re all compassionate and loving and taught me so much about myself, being a leader, and being a good friend. You’re all the 24 we hoped for, and if I had to start all over again I wouldn’t change one thing. Feel proud, get the much needed rest you deserve, and get ready to keep up with your people now and forever.

To Session F: I’ve hit character limit but ask me next time we hang 🥲 fhomies forever.

To Olivia, Olaughia, Oloveia: you’re the best co-chair I could have ever hoped for. I really do feel like I cheated god somehow in getting a partner like you. You amplified my best qualities and were a balancing voice against my worst ones. You got me through the toughest of times and made the best of times more fun. The sleepless nights were rough, but now that it’s over I’d do it again in a heartbeat. The horrors persisted, but so did we.

To Fish Camp: thank you for being such a wonderful organization that I cried when it was over. You’ll always decorate my walls even when the tinsel and hair dye is gone.

Session F Red Camp Richards Co-Chair, signing off for the very last time.
