POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As we continue National Women's Small Business Month, we are thrilled to highlight Dr. Erika Morrow with @forsighteye. In her own words:

"As a woman-owned small business owner, I've been fortunate enough to turn two of my greatest passions into a career: helping people see their very best and helping them look and feel their very best, too! 👓💕

I've always believed that eye wear is so much more than a medical necessity. It's fashion, personality, confidence, and self-expression. Being able to combine my love for fashion with my passion for exceptional eye care is what makes owning ForSight so incredibly rewarding.

But one of the greatest lessons I've learned as a business owner is that small businesses don't thrive alone. We thrive when we support one another.

I'm constantly inspired by other women who have taken risks, followed their passions, and poured their hearts into building something of their own. I know firsthand the sacrifices, long hours, and determination it takes to keep those dreams alive.

That's why I believe so strongly in shopping small, supporting local, collaborating with fellow entrepreneurs, and celebrating each other's successes. As women in business, we have an incredible opportunity to lift one another up, open doors, and create opportunities for the next generation of women entrepreneurs.

This October, during National Women's Small Business Month, I encourage everyone to be intentional about where they spend their money. Every purchase, referral, kind review, and recommendation makes a difference. When you support a small business, you're supporting someone's dream, their employees, their families, and the community we all call home."

Thank you, Dr. Morrow!❤️

I was really delighted to get my hands on these glass cleaning clothes for @forsighteye based on these three painting I did back in the 90’s.
Cleaning my glasses constantly from here on.

☀️2026 Summer Recap☀️

With Autumn in our midst, it felt like the perfect time to reflect on this summer.

Some of my favorite moments were the seemingly small ones, the pickup soccer games where we all got to play together, thursday night softball with friends and trying to relive our youth (even if we weren’t exactly lighting up the scoreboard), jumping off the dock and fishing, and all the camps, beach days, and little adventures in between.

This summer also brought a growing sense of community. Becoming part of a church and continuing to find fellowship there has been one of the best unexpected gifts of this season.

There was family, travel, good food, lots of closings, my new found affection for golf, time on the water, new places, old friends, and plenty of moments that I probably wouldn’t have thought to plan but ended up being some of my favorites.

A summer full of people, connection, and memories.

Feeling grateful for all of it.
