CORPS ARMÉ, THE ARMED CORPS
“i built her from what was given away. ballet tights donated by a women’s ballet center, knotted at different heights and joined by my own hand stitching. every pair still holds the shape of the dancer who wore it. the ghost stays in the fiber.”

Dress is available for pulls / rentals contact @fotmgmt

“i unmade brassieres and remade them as armor. the cups become pauldrons at the shoulder. the straps cross her back as a harness. cream and bronze medallion buttons hold the garment together like military decorations. what fastens her also adorns her.”

AND THE HEELS
“hand painted magenta pumps with brown lace up instep panels and the red m at the heel. found objects, painted by my own hand, reborn to march with her armor.”
