Hold On To Hope - God Doesn’t Waste Wounds

Foundation Night 1

What happens when you don’t see it?
Is God still good or is He evil?
Is He still a God of love
Or do you not know anymore?

I have questions. I had questions.
God, why me?
Why am I not healed?

I have heard about you healing others
I have seen you heal others
I have seen you restore others
I believe in you
Why am I not healed?

I have cried out to you for healing
I have cried myself to sleep wondering why
I have received prayer
I have had hands laid on me in faith
I have gone to prayer services and gone up for healing believing that you would restore
I know you see my pain
Yet and still, I was not healed

Then… faith. faith.
I learned about faith.
I am actually now the poster child for faith
Faith is the substance of things hoped for
The evidence of things not YET seen

Yet. Not yet. Why am I not healed yet.
Yet implies that there is still time
Yet means it’s still possible
Yet requires faith, trust and patience
Why am I not healed yet?

God what are you trying to teach me?
How to have faith, even when it hurts?
What if the pain gets too unbearable?

I am with you says the Lord
I love you
I see you
You are my son
You are my daughter
When you are weak
I am strong
I will never leave you
Nor will I ever forsake you
Even when your parents leave or abandon you
I am here
Even when it hurts
I am with you
I am Jehovah Rapha
The Lord who heals
I am El Roi
The God who sees you
I will make a way in the wilderness
I will make a river in the desert
I will restore the years you have lost from the pain
It will all make sense
Just trust me
Cling to me
I will make a way
I will make a way
I will make a way
It is done.

Foundation Youth Conference Part 2

I’m so blessed and thankful to witness God building HIS church right before my eyes. God is using the FYC to break down church barriers and bring this young generation TOGETHER so He can be glorified. Thank you God, less of me and more of you. I’m just a vessel, a small dot of color you are using for your bigger picture. Regardless of age, race, sex, circumstances, and shortcomings, God wants to use you, let Him! Because He’s building His church.
