What a wonderful day I have had in Nantwich (90 miles from home). So much wonderful, medieval architecture to admire and unique independent businesses in this thriving Cheshire town. Thank you very much @houseofvalerie__ for your warm welcome and fabulous clothes, @cheeseshopnantwich for bread and delicious Cheshire cheese; @nantwichbookshop for great coffee and especially @foundationsofnantwich for such fun and excellent service. Also @nantwichmuseum was fascinating to visit. #lifeofanartist #supportsmallbusiness

✨SUPPORTING FEMALE FOUNDERS One of the things I love most about my work is supporting and collaborating with female founders and women in business. I do that in lots of different ways: ✨ 1:2:1 coaching to help them rethink their priorities, build confidence and create a work life blend that fits with their commitments, ambitions and values. ✨ Your Life Your Blend — my online and in person programme, coaching by the sea and workshops helping women step back, reassess and create a blueprint for the future they actually want. ✨ @awwa_acceptingwhoweare Live Mannequin Experiences using lingerie, swimwear and conversation to build body confidence and help women feel fabulous in their own skin. ✨ Modelling & brand collaborations with female-founded and independent businesses. ✨ Hosting and Speaking at events about midlife, confidence, business, wellbeing and creating a life that works for you. ✨ Creating confidence-enhancing charity events that bring women, businesses and good causes together. For me, collaboration is not about competing for the same piece of the cake. It’s about making a bigger cake and sharing it. I believe women in business can support, champion and collaborate with each other while still building successful businesses on their own terms. So, if you are a female founder, woman in business or organisation looking for a confident, creative collaborator - let’s talk. Whether you need support with your work life blend, business, life or body confidence, an event, speaking, modelling, a brand collaboration or a completely bonkers idea you have been wondering who to call about it ( @marydaviesphotography we need to sort THAT photoshoot 😉) then….. 📩 DM me or comment COLLAB below and let’s start a conversation. #FemaleFounders #WomenInBusiness #WomenSupportingWomen #BusinessCollaboration #WorkLifeBlend

On Saturday I called in to see Kate at @foundationsofnantwich and met some amazing ladies! I had a big chat with @mrsbdoesmidlife (whilst she was modeling swimwear in the window!!) about @awwa_acceptingwhoweare and the importance of body confidence at all ages. @rachelperu1 meanwhile was in the other window modelling a beautiful peach bra and knicker set 🧡 @rachelperu1 and Tina @mrsbdoesmidlife began championing self-acceptance and empowering midlife women when they founded @awwa_acceptingwhoweare challenging ageism in swimwear and lingerie marketing. I wholeheartedly agree that it’s hugely important for everyone at all ages to feel ok with who we are and not be afraid to wear or be whatever the heck we want. We’re not all skinny with perfect skin, our bodies and lives are not always happy, we’re not all living in show homes with picture-perfect relationships. Real life is messy, busy, imperfect and constantly changing, and that is completely normal. So much of what we see in the media and on social platforms shows a carefully edited highlight reel, and it can quietly make us feel like we are somehow falling short. The pressure to look, live and be a certain way can be overwhelming. I loved seeing this ‘demonstration’ reminding us it is ok to be exactly who we are, right now, at whatever stage of life we are in. Confidence does not come from perfection, it comes from acceptance, kindness and being supported to feel comfortable in your own skin. More of this please. More honesty, more inclusivity, more celebrating real women and real lives! Congratulations @mrsbdoesmidlife and @rachelperu1, and to Kate and the team at @foundationsofnantwich for bringing this to Nantwich 🎉👏👏👏🎉
