THE BEST APPLE PIE 🍎🥧 from @foundingfarmers in Washington DC

The most indulgent slice of apple pie I’ve had! The filling and caramel topping was perfectly sweet, the savoury crust was perfectly salty, and the ice cream was the harmony that brought it all together! HEAVEN on a plate!

Save for your next trip to Washington DC 📍

I came. I saw. I ATE! 🤣

My husband went to Washington, DC for a conference. Apparently, I had a very important side mission. EAT ALL THE GOOD FOOD! 😂

And DC did not disappoint!

From delicious made-from-scratch meals at @foundingfarmers to the wonderful food and service at historic @oldebbitt, a little Southern comfort food at @yardbirdrestaurants, and the sweetest little café called @_mamannyc_, we definitely ate well!

I loved the variety, the beautiful restaurants, and all those wonderful meals shared with family and friends.

And yes, I absolutely took pictures of my food before eating it. Every. Single. Time. 🤣

I even loved Maman’s beautiful packaging so much that it inspired the little blue stripe border around these photos. Once an artist, always an artist! 🎨💙

We came home with a camera roll full of memories, plenty of inspiration, and a few new favorite places to recommend.

Now I’m back home, looking through all those photos, and realizing just how much fun we had!

So here’s my question. When you travel, do you research restaurants and plan where you’re going to eat, or just wing it and see what you find?

I’m definitely a planner, especially when good food is involved! 😋

We love knowing the work is delivering, and it means even more when clients feel good about the process behind it.

We’re so grateful to @dansimonssays and the @foundingfarmers team for the trust they’ve placed in MBO. The best partnerships are the ones where the strategy is strong, the communication is honest, and everyone is working toward the same goal.

Hearing that reflected back to us never gets old.

Founding Farmers D.C🐔☀️ I tore UP this plate of food! The fried chicken was crispy with a flavorful batter, the collard greens were delicious, and nothing beats a good side of mashed potatoes. I was thoroughly impressed with this southern cooking. This is the type of plate I wanna see more often. #snacking_sky #friedchicken #collardgreens #biscuits #mashedpotatoes
