DON’T LET ONE SETBACK MAKE YOU DOUBT HOW FAR YOU CAN GO. ⚽️

36 GAMES IN 4 SEASONS.
Since 2023, I’ve played just 36 competitive games due to illness. I know first-hand how frustrating it feels when things don’t go to plan.

EVERY PLAYER FACES SETBACKS.
Being released from an academy. Struggling for minutes. Suffering an injury or illness. Losing your motivation to play.

DON’T LET IT DEFINE YOU.
One difficult season doesn’t define your ability, your potential or your future. Your journey is bigger than one setback.

YOUR PROGRESS DOESN’T HAVE TO LOOK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE’S.
Your journey might take longer than expected. Keep learning, keep working and give yourself time to grow. 💪

KEEP SHOWING UP FOR YOURSELF.
Believe in yourself when things get tough. Ask for support when you need it. Don’t let a difficult chapter make you give up on what you love.

YOUR SETBACK IS PART OF YOUR JOURNEY — NOT THE DEFINITION OF IT. ⚽️
Keep going. Keep believing. Your story is still yours to write.

That was a brutal watch, and while the weather didn’t do anyone any favors, it was the same for both teams.
As I’ve said before, you can't just roll up expecting to walk all over the opposition—football doesn't work that way. But we also can’t defend the way we did yesterday; we are miles better than that. Hopefully, this is the sharp wake-up call we needed.
Credit to the lads for showing incredible character to claw it back to 3-3, only to throw it away at the back right after 😩.
We win together and we lose together. A massive shoutout to Sonny—worked his absolute socks off and thoroughly deserved MOTM 👏🏻.
We dust ourselves off and go again next week. Have a good weekend, everyone 🫶🏻

Incredible match today between SGA and FEFA

Played like absolute quality today, boys! Back-to-back games in 24 hours and we still ran them ragged.

On any other day, we walk off 6 or 7-0 up. Their two goals came straight out of thin air, but a win’s a win.
As Ant said, putting in a shift like that the day after another game is some serious graft—unbeaten run stays intact, 3 points in the bag, and we keep rolling! 💪🏻

Massive shoutout to Charlie G for taking home MOTM—absolute machine today. 👊🏻

Have a boss weekend, boys. Rest up, enjoy it, and I'll see you all Monday! 🫶🏻

Tonight we hosted a team all the way from Australia, who are currently over here on a 12-day football tour. After spending the day soaking up the history at Melwood, they took us on in a friendly—and what a match it was.
Huge credit to our boys for pulling off a brilliant 4-2 win against a significantly older side (heard one or two of them were 17, but the lads didn't let that bother them!). We thoroughly deserved the result—played some outstanding football, even while battling a wind that was doing its absolute best to steal the spotlight.
Shoutout to Sonny for a well-earned Man of the Match performance! 👏🏻

Thanks @reuben_cliff1 for Reffing the game.

Rest up, lads—see you all tomorrow to go again! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Well, Saturday was definitely one of those games! 😂

The lads turned up thinking it was going to be a cricket score, but it turned into a proper battle. They dug deep, stuck together and got the result we wanted. 💪🏻⚽️

It got a little… rough around the edges at times, but our lads handled the sly kicks and physical stuff really well and didn’t let it distract them. Fair play to them all! 👏🏻👏🏻

Big shout-out to Charlie G — thought he was outstanding! 👏🏻👏🏻

Also, well done Sonny! ⚽️👏🏻 Scoring the winner and getting your first goal for the team — hopefully the first of many! 🙌🏻

But today, Luke was an absolute rock once again. 💪🏻🪨 Up against that big kid and didn’t give him an inch. Brilliant performance, mate!

Well deserved Man of the Match, Luke! 👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Proud of all the lads — they showed plenty of fight when it mattered! ❤️⚽️
