I can be grateful my hair grew back and still miss how it used to be….

A feeling I’ve battled with for a while!

Losing it twice to chemo, growing out a deeply questionable mullet, then having it thin with perimenopause… this poor head deserves all the love I got but …

The thinning knocked my confidence more than I wanted to admit. I almost felt guilty caring, because surely after everything, having hair should be enough?

But I’m allowed to want to feel good about it too right?! YES!

For me, that’s meant looking after the hair I have, and getting a little help from tape extensions for the fullness I’ve missed 🤍

I go to @foxandvampsalon for tape extensions and having tried bonds and tapes, I find the tapes soooo easy to manage & it’s so much quicker getting them in and out!

Now I’m not going to be doing a bob anytime soon but am thinking of going darker and would appreciate your thoughts on whether this is a menopause meltdown or a good idea??

CHERRY COLA 🍒

Rich tones, beautiful depth and a little added length.

Using a mix of 18” tape extensions using shade ‘hyde’ and ‘primrose’- which is the shade i used to create using O&M colour range 20g 4.66 + 10g 44.65 in COR colour which I bespoke coloured to match my clients previous results. 🍒

Finishing with my faveee styling product in o&m ‘felxible queen’ and ‘spray conditioner’🫦

A combination of custom colour and carefully placed extensions to create fullness, movement and a beautifully polished finish.

Because the details make all the difference. 🧚‍♀️

Longer, lighter, without the bleach ⚡️

My client wanted to brighten her overall colour while adding serious length and fullness, without compromising her natural hair.

Using 6 packs of 22-inch @foxandvamp tape extensions (160g), we created a beautifully blended, multidimensional finish without the need for any lightening services.

Proof that extensions can do so much more than just add length.

FINALLY my Dyson air wrap tutorial! SAVE THIS FOR LATER for curls that last. Written instructions below:
1. Dry hair to 85% dry
2. Section into a top and bottom half
3. Heat protector from colour wow
4. Apply generous amounts of @foxandvamp hair extension extender. I found this helps lock curls in SO well and really makes them stay and last! You can use on non extension hair too!
5. Curl sections and pin as you go to set the curl. You can use rollers too but I like pins - these are from @jackmead_stylist unity rollers which comes as a set of rollers and pins
6. Complete bottom section
7. Repeat for top section, curling the section around your face away from your face
8. Unpin + spray with colour wow Texas hold em hairspray
9. Brush it all through + spray again!
