Clips from 2026, Laughlin Desert classic

Good battle all weekend. First day we lost our brakes on the last lap. while chasing down the leader. Second day we were chasing down the championship.

Good having @foxfactoryvehicles onboard and at the track with us today. Not the finish we wanted but we had a really fast car. Thank you @jarnascar and our partners for the support all year.

Half-ton vs. Three-Quarter-Ton: Which one do you actually need? 🛻👇
Buying a truck is a massive investment, and picking the wrong class can either leave you short on capability or stuck paying for power you’ll never use. Let’s break down the real differences between 1500 (Half-Ton) and 2500 (Three-Quarter-Ton) trucks so you can make the smart choice.

🏋️‍♂️ Half-Ton Trucks (e.g., Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado 1500, Ram 1500)

These are your daily drivers and weekend warriors.
• The Pros: Better fuel economy, smoother ride (often coil-spring suspensions), and they actually fit into standard parking spaces.
• The Limits: Max towing usually tops out around 9,000–13,000 lbs, but payload (tongue weight, passengers, and gear in the bed) is the real bottleneck.
• Best For: Commuting, light boats, jet skis, small utility trailers, and lightweight travel trailers.

🏗️ Three-Quarter-Ton Trucks (e.g., F-250, Silverado 2500, Ram 2500)

These are built strictly for heavy labor and serious hauling.
• The Pros: Massive payloads, heavy-duty frames, larger brakes, and commercial-grade axles. They handle heavy tongue weights and fifth-wheel setups without breaking a sweat.
• The Limits: Stiffer, rougher ride when empty, lower fuel efficiency, and a higher price tag.
• Best For: Large fifth-wheels, heavy equipment trailers, horse trailers, or if you regularly haul heavy cargo in the bed.

🔍 The Golden Rule of Truck Buying

Don’t just look at the towing capacity look at the payload capacity sticker inside the driver’s door. A half-ton might technically be rated to tow your 10,000-lb camper, but once you add the hitch weight, your family, and a cooler of ice, you’ll easily blow past your payload limit.
Our Advice: If you are towing near a half-ton’s maximum limit more than a few times a year, step up to the three-quarter-ton. Safety and peace of mind on the highway are worth every penny. @foxfactoryvehicles @blackwidowtrucks @fordperformanceclub @ramtrucks @f150owners @nissanusa @dieseltruckaddicts
