To have 20 people come out to support grassroots music at an independent venue outside of our hometown is something we’ll never take for granted, thank you 🫶

Big thanks to Ed at Fish Factory for putting the night on and sound engineering; to @leerahnmusic for opening the night with his wonderful songs and calming vocals; to @foxhunt__ for building the night with their poignant songwriting and musicianship; @clareaddyman / @selkiesandseaweeds for designing and printing our amazing poster, and to @sophien.photography for coming down last minute to take photos after a full day at work, and to our partners and friends who continue to support us in sharing the music that we create 🌊

Here we go with part 2 of the hottest gigs in Cornwall this week!

@tropicalpressure is back this weekend, with 3 days of wide ranging genres as they prepare to take you on a cultural journey of exploration by the sea!

@benbanford_music weaves his folk magic on Saturday when he heads West to play @Masonbrewingco

@chainska_brassika sole purpose is to get their audiences bouncing & having the time of their lives. Blending raucous ska, heavy dub and classic reggae, the South Londoners have gone from rocking house parties at school to playing stadium shows. Catch them at @Barsilocornwall on Saturday.

@in_silver__ create alt folk music, with highly personal & emotive songwriting at its core. Their sound is illustrated by arrangements which range from a whisper to grooves that get people moving. They play @Fishfactoryarts on Saturday, support from @foxhunt__ & @leerahnmusic

@Manymensoundsystem bring a fresh twist on the male vocal choir sound, think electronic drums & synths, creating an infectious & totally original sound. They play @Yhatreybay on Saturday.

@periraeee has taken some time out she has focused on the music she wants to make, the comeback single ‘Surf With The Boys’ is a fierce & ferocious call to arms, and has whet the appetite for more new music. She plays @bedruthanlive with support from @sunfullmusic & @dj_annonlee

@Sethlakemannews was catapulted into the music mainstream when he was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2005. The folk singer continues to go from strength to strength. He plays @Penleeparktheatre on Saturday.

@Edensessionsofficial hosts a huge lineup of Inde talent. Headlined by @themaccabees who are back and better than ever! Also on the stacked bill are @e_e_ @tomasmithmusic @tummyachemusic @thevelvethands & @matildafinnfrances

Mixing influences from his Irish Roots, Acoustic folk and Americana @Seamusmckennamusic is an artist you should have your eye on. The modern day troubador plays @bierhuisgrandcafe_stives on Sunday.

Chart topping global pop sensation @Mikainstagram plays @edensessionsofficial on Sunday. He brings the big singalong energy, with support from @mustbemeek

A fresh look for this summer of busking ☀️🎸

The style of this artwork is Lino Printing and it’s something Clare has been working and playing around with for a little while now. Always so happy to see her immersed in the process and letting her creative side flow 🎨
She also used Lino to create the poster for my next gig with @in_silver__ and @foxhunt__ at the @fishfactoryarts on Saturday 11th July 🎸
