LOT CON 💥🦹‍♂️

It’s a Loudoun County celebration of all things comics—and much, much more—where the characters aren’t just in the books.

Welcome to Lot Con, a convention-style takeover in Ashburn, VA, where local vendors showcase everything from actual comics books to all kinds of art and collectibles. The event is put on by @comiclogicva, a local shop that has become famous beyond the DMV over the years for its incredible collections—and connections to big players in comic book and entertainment industries.

In today’s episode of “Matt About Town,” we’re talking about what makes Lot Con special, and how, since comics have gone more mainstream, a new generation is now taking up the mantle of keeping the art of comics alive!

If you missed this past Sunday’s Lot Con, don’t worry. Comic Logic has another Lot Con event coming up in October…and that one is even more Comic-Con-esque, with costumes/cosplay encouraged just before Halloween. 🎃 🦸‍♂️

Find more episodes of “Matt About Town” on WTOP’s website, inside the WTOP News app, or on 103.5FM.
