After practice, we get right to it.

Freshman through varsity putting in 45 minutes of quality work.

Joints prepped.
Body warmed up.
Then straight into strength.

Split squats.
Single-leg RDLs.
Rows.
Push-ups.
Direct core.

No fluff. No chasing fatigue. Just controlled reps, good movement, and work that serves the athlete. 💯

Get the work in. Get better. Get home.

Sharkey is a rising junior forward for @fp_hoops whom we covered during the 2026 @smartballnyc.

Sharkey’s presence is felt in the paint offensively and defensively. On offense, his teammates are constantly looking to get in the paint and drop the ball off to him in the dunker spot, where he can finish through contact. He’s also a beast on the glass and collected multiple offensive rebounds before going straight back up for a bucket.

Sharkey also patrolled the paint on the defensive end. He collected multiple blocks and deterred shots around the rim. We’ll definitely keep track of Sharkey’s development next season.

O’dea is a rising junior guard for @fp_hoops whom we covered during the 2026 @smartballnyc.

O’Dea is a threat from beyond the arc and his teammates are constantly looking to get him the ball off drives. He hit multiple catch-and-shoot threes from different spots on the floor, including the corner and wing.

He also knocked down a catch-and-shoot mid-range jumper from the top of the key. O’dea also showed he’s not the type of player to just stand around waiting for the ball, as he cut to the basket and finished at the rim.

During the 2026 @smartballnyc, we covered an interesting game between @southshorevikingsmbb and @fp_hoops.

Running late for the game, South Shore only showed up with 5 players at tip-off. They got off to a slow start, which was expected since they never got a chance to even warm up. Fordham Prep took advantage of that and came out hot early.

Fordham Prep set the tone on the defensive end to begin the game by protecting the rim and turning blocked shots into easy baskets. Offensively, they consistently passed and cut, creating scoring opportunities at the rim and wide-open threes. It looked like Fordham was going to run away with this game until South Shore finally got out of their cold spell.

The Vikings began to turn things around by clamping down on defense, forcing turnovers, and giving a collective effort on the glass. This allowed them to play their style of basketball by getting out in transition for easy baskets. Their guards were quick in the open floor and constantly put pressure on the rim. In half court situations, Fordham Prep also had trouble containing South Shore’s guards out of the paint, which created even more problems. South Shore ultimately found a way to pull out the 52-45 win.

The journey doesn’t end at @FordhamPrep, it starts here.

From Division I to Division III, and everywhere in between, @FordhamPrep alumni are making their mark as collegiate student-athletes.

Our newest series will feature former Rams sharing how Fordham Prep helped prepare them for success in the classroom, in competition, and beyond.

The Schools represented in this graphic represent many of the colleges and universities our alumni have gone on to but they’re just a snapshot of the ever-growing Fordham Prep Brotherhood competing at the next level.

Go Rams! 🐏
