The book tour continues! Very stoked to be speaking to the @fraaclub Weds Oct 21 7pm, Brewery Legitimus, New Hartford CT. All are welcome. I’ll have books if you need a copy, and I’m happy to sign your copy if you bring it. If you fish the Farmington, this is a must-read book and a must-attend event. Now, repeat after me: brew-er-y…. #flytying #flyfishing #flyfishingjunkie #troutbum #tailwaterjunkie

We are having a “Hardy/Greys Demo Day” here this Saturday, October 24th from 11 AM to 3 PM. This will be your chance to see and play with the new Hardy and Greys rods & reels, including the brand new Hardy Tactus nymphing & dry fly rods. Our Hardy/Greys rep Earl Evans we’ll be here and you can pick his brain. We will have food and drink, and you can see all the positive changes we’ve made inside our store recently. Earl will be giving away a Hardy Tactus nymphing rod, everyone who comes will get a free raffle ticket, and you can also purchase additional chances for $20 (we will be selling them in advance in the store this week, and you can also purchase them at the Farmington River Angler’s Association meeting this Wednesday). All proceeds from the raffle will go to the FRAA. You don’t have to be present to win the rod once you have a raffle ticket. #hardyflyfishing #upcountrysportfishing #farmingtonriver #dryfly #euronymphing

🦅The holiday weekend is here! The flow has been bumped just in time for all of us to enjoy the #wildandscenic Farmington River 🌊 It’s going to be a fabulous weekend to spend with loved ones on the water. Thank you to everyone who helps to keep it clean, be a steward and spread the good word on how to best use its waters. Stay safe out there! 🛶 #fourthofjulyweekend #riverrocks

🎨Another year, another community art project. Support @nhag.ct and @riverrocksnewhartford - paint a trout! 🐟Fish will be on display during the event, and possibly after! 👏Yes!! These are actual fish (in this reel - ha) that some of the talented artists have already painted, we can’t wait to see your own versions. ☀️The Guild will also be offering other pieces for purchase that day. Check out what the artists have created, and make sure to visit the other great businesses in the Hurley Factory — #riverrocksnhct Saturday June 20th!
