Every morning, I go out into the streets to gather whatever discarded paper and plastic I can find on the ground that people no longer want. I collect it just to cook a basic meal for my children, to bring a moment of joy to their hearts. A single meal is all they have to last the entire day. It has been two months since they last tasted meat.
