Turning 28 is actually pretty dope, 27 was whack.

Think I had a crisis of confidence and a general existential dread that took me a year to get to the bottom of. What the hell am I doing? Why do all my friends choose to spend their precious time with me? Am I being a burden?

Turns out the answer is so simple: they think I’m a nice fella and there is no transactional obligation in true friendship. For the first time I feel that’s somewhat sank in a bit.

Although it felt grim looking back on photos there was so much cool shit that happened, and it can’t all be bad when I was laughing a lot of that time with homies.

Thank you for choosing to spend your precious time with me, if it’s any consolation yall are nice fellas and every second with yall never feels wasted 🙂

New show running through @sidewaysepromo in October!
Got a great lineup of awesome artists / bands with a wide mix of genres,
all for a great cause supporting @aktcharity

- Pointless Waste Of Dopamine: Midwest emo / Post-hardcore influenced 4 piece wearing vulnerable emotions on their sleeve lyrically.

- Clouded: Melodic Hardcore 4 piece formed in Brighton in 2025.

- Could Be Ghosts: Brighton based emo band, they pull from 2000s aesthetics, metalcore, and DIY ethos.

- Frances Murray: Released her album Dreamer this year, Alt-Grunge / Indie "Heavy music for soft people"

- Jack Smith: His intricate acoustic songs give off an elliot smith vibe with a great splash of emo as well.

On This Day 48 Years Ago (11.08.78.) the Band of My Generation The Jam Released the Double A Sided Single 'David Watts' & "A Bomb In Wardour Street" On Polydor Records.
Of Course I Rushed Down to Reidys Record Shop In Blackburn to Purchase It on Day 1, and was Lucky Enough to Hear It Live Many Times.
