Traded cold air and gray skies for a few days of warm LA sunshine. I can confirm: I’m 100% solar powered. ☀️

After months of bundling up, frigid temps, and snow, feeling the sun on my skin again was like flipping a switch…

My mood lifted. My energy came back. Even the colors around me felt sharper and brighter.

It reminded me of what I always say: sunshine is medicine!

If you’re solar-powered like me, spring is almost here! Longer days, warmer walks, and colorful farmers’ markets are just around the corner. 🌻🌸🍃

This last year has been a deep dive into self. self care. self love. self grace. self momentum. Where I searched and longed for a slow life, built with intention and belonging. Filled with the simple things. A smile from a stranger. A warm cup of tea on a cold night. An iced matcha on a hotter then normal spring day. A life of purpose not petulance, clarity and consideration, consistency and courageousness. And along this journey I found those elements were there all along. Waiting to be given permission to bloom. As Bell Hooks said “When we can see ourselves as we truly are and accept ourselves, we build the necessary foundation for self love…whether we learn how to love ourselves and others will depend on the presence of a loving environment. Self love cannot flourish in isolation…The light of love is always in us, no matter how cold the flame.”

So know you are the love you seek. It was there all along, it’s your birth right and this is your permission.

February faves but make it bday month! 💐💝🕯️🥰🎂 This month started with letting go of something that meant a lot to me 🪞, a solo trip to Paso Robles 🍷, starting my new job at ARMRA 🍶, seeing @well__bymel after 18 months🍝, celebrating my friend’s bday (yes, we are 5 days apart!) 🎂, seeing my nephews and niece after 2 months 🥹, and having the most TBM-coded birthday of my life!!🧲🦄🪄🧙🏻☺️ the party continues today with painting and dinner with friends! 🎨

I’ve been a sad girl lately and will not sugarcoat how down I’ve felt, but I’m finally starting to see light at the end of the tunnel, BUT am also celebrating this season of grief because I will never have it back. There’s beauty in that too.

Swipe to see my very Taylor Swift-coded copy at work I pulled off 🤣❤️‍🔥🍊

🌻✨💐if you know me, you know how special flowers are to me. I love growing them, picking them, pressing them…they are my joy (especially sunflowers:) such simple & pure beauty. While I was in the hospital @cedarssinai in LA, my family kept surprising me with these beautiful flowers. My brother kept walking in to suprise me with a new beautiful bouquet 🥺
They truly were the light in some of the darkest times. Having them on my windowsill or on my table filled me with so much joy and put biggest smile on my face. One of the biggest things I’ve taken from this whole journey is to really soak up the simple things in life and find the beauty in the everyday things. Life is such a blessing ❤️ Thank you @francescablume for sharing your beautiful talent and having you flowers be a special part of this time 🫶💐

What a perfectly spooky Harry Potter Halloween. Obviously the sorting hat chose the House of Gryffindor. 🎃
