Well that’s a wrap for RI finals & Fieldstone 2026!

RI finals -
Maggie finished with a 7th in the horsemanship challenge along with a great medal round just shy of top 10… so close!

Fieldstone Regionals-

She fought really hard to get qualified for NHS and ended up with a great round ending in 8th in the NHS championship, but didn’t make it to final …1st MHJ Junior/Adult Medal, 5th 1.00m Jr/Am Jumper

I could not be more proud of this girl and her love for the sport, the horses and her team. She is so hard-working, and it shows with such great sportsmanship and horsemanship. I could not be more proud of this kid with how she shows up every single time to the ring and tries her best!!! I love that she knows anytime she gets to sit in that seat and enter a the ring that she’s already won and that this sport is a gift and a privilege!!

Bernie - you certainly are one of a kind, thank you for helping her get to be the rider she is, she couldn’t do it without him🥰🥰 we are so grateful every day @bmcg826 for giving Maggie an incredible opportunity with this boy!

A little late for Pride Month, but never too late for this message (especially when delivered by a miniature horse) 🌈

I had hoped to share this project before the end of June, but life got busy, and I wanted to give it the time, care, and attention it deserved.

Thank you to everyone, past and present, who has fought for LGBTQIA+ rights, and to everyone who will continue that fight in the future. We would be remiss to not acknowledge the great strides that have been made for queer people, and all of the growth that still needs to occur.

This page, my business, and myself will always be a safe and welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

Pride does not end when June does. Show up for the people around you, speak up especially when it matters, and choose kindness, always. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

A huge thank you to Cali Ebersole for sharing Toast and her fantastic hair for this venture. Your willingness and hair styling skills are unmatched.

Whether something *should* happen or not is irrelevant. The reality is that service dogs are asked to tolerate quite a bit when out working in public. The dog has to have a really solid temperament to not only succeed but thrive out there.

Here Denver was on a training trip where he was run up to and even pet (without permission) by several children. While these events aren’t ideal, they are expected and I need to train my dog to handle them calmly, like I’m doing here.

Bottom line: Don’t ask more of a dog than they can handle. Doing so puts the dog’s wellbeing, your safety, and the safety of the public at risk. Most dogs don’t have the temperament for, or desire to be service dogs.

Accessibility: yellow Labrador is at an indoor holiday event. A small child runs up to the service dog in a downstay. Parent drags the child away. Second clip is two service dogs walking together through the event.

Going to special events at non-peak times can be great training for a young service dog.

Training at an indoor Festival of Lights came with lots of new experiences for Denver including riding a small train, practicing his stay while I swung on a colorful swing, meeting the grinch, and some interesting visual effects.

Celebrating Cheddar a little extra today on her second birthday!! Cheddar is the wild child- our silliest, happiest, super sweet, snuggliest pup that always makes everyone around her smile.

At 3.5 months old Cheddar choked on a single piece of kibble and almost died from aspiration pneumonia. Cheddar, we are so lucky and so grateful you lived and even luckier that you are a forever pup in our home. Every day we spend with you is the best gift. So on your birthday, it’s your moment- but it always has been and always will be!

Happy birthday baby cheds💛💛💛
