You don't know my name cause I never got famous (yeah... I tried) but here's a strange esoteric question: If you had a music time machine… what concert would you stop at first? (A few random people that comment will get a signed book courtesy of me- I'll DM you)

Me… I’d go straight back to 1991. Nirvana at the Roxy.

And I’d do one thing different…

I wouldn’t miss what happened two days later.

The Smells Like Teen Spirit video shoot in Burbank.

I missed it. Stayed up too late, felt like shit, got lazy… and blew it.

But the guy who wrote the foreword to my book, Kevin Estrada… he went.

And yeah… he’s all over that video, right next to Cobain(plus he took all the photos of them and Kurt with his green sweater... what a friggin legend)

This is my music time machine.

The Roxy
The Whisky
The Viper Room

For more than a decade I lived behind the stage doors of the Sunset Strip.

Some nights were fukin legendary.
Some were dark comedy hilarious.
Some were a complete train wreck and tragic.

These are the stories fans were never supposed to hear.

Backstage Pass
The #1 Amazon Rock Memoir and I still haven't quite broke even. Damn. lol.

Come take the ride.

@franchongdotcom drops a book bomb!

Its for kids, adults, nerds and more!

Ever hear a sound in a song and think “what the hell was that?” This book reveals the legendary instruments that created those iconic moments.

Each page features a detailed illustration of an iconic instrument, with a QR code to instantly hear playlists showcasing that exact sound while you colour. This multi-sensory approach helps the knowledge stick.

Colour them realistically or go wild with your own designs. Who knows? Your creation might inspire a real custom instrument.

Inside you’ll find:

28 detailed line drawings of iconic modern instruments

Vintage drum machines, drums, synths, iconic guitars and basses

QR codes linking to curated playlists for each instrument (multisensory learning)

$25 a book. Get in to get down.
