The news arrived liked this…

And the official acceptance!
🤯

This was an incredible night. My very first solo performance of my own music at @clubcumming . I had been terrified to perform, and I found a family in this magical place.

I sewed the patch on my hat and cut off my shirt!

Some of the kind things people had to say about my music.
🫠🥹

I waited until literally the last minute to submit my songs. I had procrastinated to the limit. To get my member submissions, I had to meet a deadline. It was after this tear-laden trip to the Pantheon, after a day of travel and jet lagged out of my mind that’s I caught with the hotel WiFi and got my submissions in before midnight. There is no documentary footage.

For the past 9 months, @sosyseay and I have worked so hard creating something we are truly proud of. This EP has been a learning process from start to finish. When we began the first track, I knew next to nothing about producing. Honing my creative process and trying to make something unique and personal, and seeing the growth that comes with that, has been extremely rewarding.

None of this would have been possible without Sosy. So many of the lyrics on this EP came from her right there in the moment, in the middle of working on a song, and I don’t think I could have made this with anyone else.

And to the incredibly talented @francpratt on the drums, thank you for being part of this. I had an idea in my head of what these songs could be, and you helped bring it into focus. Incredible job.

I also want to thank @mirettey , who listened to every version of every song and was honest in telling me when a song sucked. A few songs got cut because of that, and the EP is better for it. “It’s something I’d listen to” became the highest praise I could get.

This all started as something I wanted to do for myself and it’s grown into I something I could not have imagined. I’ve spent so long living with these songs that it feels strange to finally let them go. Please give them a listen! Link to Spotify is in my bio.

My new single is out now, featuring the beautiful voice of my good friend Emina @vimoksha_ — It’s a fun summer island song that tells the story of when someone comes into your life too fast and too absorbing, yet the experience is fun even if it doesn’t become a relationship. #Newmusic #newmusicfriday #newsong #music #latinpop

Enjoy!

NAP ACADEMY | 05‑06.06.2026 | SPETTACOLO FINALE

A.A. 2025/26
