Week 4 recap: 3 games. 3 dubs. And yes, another home run. That’s 6️⃣ on the season.
RM 26-0. Northern 11-0. Central 12-2.
That’s 12 games. 12 dubs.
We have 2 games on deck this week, pending Mother Nature. Right now we’re away Thursday & Friday, since RR backed out on playing us tomorrow. 🤷‍♀️

My girl had herself a week!
Placing for 2 events in her 1st ever track meet! 💪 Keeping her home run streak alive, despite being beamed a few times this week. 💣 Can dress up with the best of them. (still loving that dress!) 💃 And got her official Marshal letter 👩‍⚖️! Lil Miss smarty pants! Capped the week at her monthly college prep training. Learning from the legendary Coach Papa from UNC, what a treat.

But this week was anchored by celebrating the life and legacy of Brittney, a remarkable teammate and friend.
It was truly an honor to organize that night. When The Most High places something on my heart, I just listen, bc he has yet to leave me hanging. And what a night it was! There are soooo many people to Thank. It was only possible bc of the many who aided my efforts. From my Mama & Lisa pitching in, setting up, all the things. My hubs for the custom Tshirts. To Morkos catering to the family & friends with food from Brewmasters. Framers Alley in Elm City doing an amazing job framing B’s jersey. Coach Collie for doing the reading for me bc I knew I couldn’t, and what better voice than the voice of the Firebirds. To Coach Davis for being part of the night. To the Ray family for such a cool tribute and allowing us to sign the car. To Phillip Pace. My guy! The game flyer was awesome. To Carrigan, Coach EA Sports, those cupcakes were delish. To my girls, yall did such a wonderful job celebrating Bristol for her birthday. To Frank for lending your talents, I’m excited to see your work. And. Most importantly, to Sheryl, Rick & Eric for allowing us, the softball community, to love on yall and honor one of our own. If I forgot anyone specifically, I do apologize. Thank you all who came out to make that night a success. ❤️ It’s a great time to be a Ladybird.
