We’re celebrating the late Tim Curry with a double bill dedicated to The Rocky Horror Picture Show on October 9th, pairing the sing-along with the documentary Strange Journey: The Story Of Rocky Horror. Slip into your corset, tease that wig, and time-warp your butt over to our cinema in honour of the man who made Dr. Frank-N-Furter one of cinema’s most unforgettable creations. Expect toilet paper, entertainment by @franks_freaks, and plenty of audience participation. Tickets are sold separately and are bound to sell fast, so get yours now! 👄

From humble origins as a London fringe theatre play to its meteoric rise as the biggest cult film of all time, Strange Journey is the definitive story of Rocky Horror. With intimate access to its creator Richard O’Brien and other major players, the documentary explores what makes the play and film so singular: Its groundbreaking and transgressive themes, iconic performances and epic songs that took over popular culture. 🧻

So, 33 arrived and I decided to give myself everything I had ever dreamed of. With a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. @franks_freaks absolutely blew me away with their show! They put so much love, time and effort into it, I am in awe of you. 50 bags of props and confetti were made and devoured. We had Magentas and Rif Raffs, welcome drinks from Salmari, blew bubbles and got tattoos. But above all, I remember the laughter.

To be loved is to be seen. It was very special for me to be able to share this experience with so many friends, future friends and family. Thank you for coming and showing yourself as the freaks you are.

Don’t dream it, be it.
